Charlotte's P.O.V

When everyone was all gathered up in the living room with their stuff gathered we decided to go over the game plan. I didn't want to be around Cas at all but I knew that I would have to work with him now that my group of hunters are going to work with the people he is supposed to protect.

"So where are we going to go to meet up with the boys?" I decided to go straight for wanting to leave. He will most likely just go straight back to the boys while I would prefer to be in the car with my team.

"We are going to the boy's bunker or safehouse in Lebanon, Kansas. I will meet you guys there." I am so happy that he decided on that because it means I don't have to have a long and awkward car ride. Our safehouse is in Portland.

My team said their goodbyes to Cas while I just walked outside with everyone's bags to put in the car. While I was putting the bags in the back of Aurora's dark purple '65 Mustang. She will only let Sophie drive if she is tired enough but she would never let Noah even sit in the front seat. I waited by the car after putting things away because I was not going to go back inside to Cas.

It only took them about five more minutes until they came out of the house. We all gathered in the car for the 23 and a half hour drive. It's definitely going to feel like an eternity.

We have been on the road for about three hours just listening to the radio when Aurora decided that it was time for the interrogation to begin. I knew they would start asking questions sooner or later. I just hoped they would give me more time to think about what I'm going to say to them. "Ok I have a question. I want to know how you know this Cas guy." Aurora was the one to speak up first and I was happy that she decided to start off with a somewhat easy question.

"I used to be friends with him while we were both up in heaven together. He was the only one who would actually talk to me outside of to ask about missions. I really got to know him but one day he just left and I barely see him anymore. When i do it is only short visits and he just leaves again. That was the longest visit I have gotten from him in a long time." I left out a big chunk of information out of the story because they really only asked how i know him. Aurora looked at me through the rear view mirror clearly not completely convinced with the story I just gave her. I knew that she was definitely gonna be asking more questions about it.

"So what was with the cold shoulder towards him earlier. I know it isn't because you guys were just good friends?"
