Chapter Eleven

Charlotte's P.O.V

We decided to head to a karaoke bar to drink and sing. The place didn't really have a lot of people there so we were able to I hope this will be a good Idea. I was nervous because everyone was gonna sing except for Sophie and they had to choose their song beforehand. We had to write it on an index card, fold it, and throw it in a hat. So the order is random? Oh my God. What will happen if I get picked first?

The host of the night came around collecting index cards and then walking up on the stage to discuss the rules before we started off the night. "Ok. Do I have everyone's cards?" He looks around at the small audience and then nods. "Alright. So there are only a couple of rules to start off. One, If you put a card in the hat you have to sing the song that you chose. No changing the songs. Second, the order that you are picked is the order that you must go in. When I call your name you have to come up and sing. You cannot just choose not to sing when you are called onto the stage. Lastly, please be nice to the people that are walking up on stage. Not everyone is the best singer but at least they have the guts to walk up on the stage and perform. So... without further to do, I will pick a name and start off this Karaoke night."

We all clapped and watched as the man reached his hand into the cowboy hat and pull out a single index card. He opened it and read the card before going back to the microphone before speaking the name. "Meghan Jones singing 'before he cheats' by Carrie Underwood. We clapped again and watched as a raven-haired girl in a tight red dress walked up to the stage and then started her song. I looked over to Noah and saw that his eyes were practically glued to the girl on the stage. I mean she is kind of pretty but she looks like she only wants one thing and it's not a relationship. I shook my head at Noah and turned back to the girl until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned and saw that Cas was the one who was trying to get my attention and was leaning forward towards my ear. "Why is she so angry while singing?" I laughed a little at his question. He was genuinely confused about the way she is singing the song. "She is singing like that because sometimes they have been through what the song expressed so they pour their emotions into the song." He nodded.

When the song ended everyone clapped. I have to admit she wasn't a bad singer. The announcer picked another name and then walked back onto the stage and over to the microphone. "Dean Winchester singing Trumpets by Jason Derulo."

Aurora's P.O.V

"Dean Winchester singing Trumpets by Jason Derulo." Oh my god! Did I hear that correctly? Dean gets up and walks over to the stage and goes next to the microphone. He laughs a little before the song started. Once he started singing my jaw literally dropped. I would never expect the stone hard man that I first met would never have the most wonderful and soft voice as he sang the song while staring at me. I was literally so mesmerized by him singing that I didn't notice that my team was looking at me and laughing. I didn't really care what they said because I am good at what I do. They respect me that's all that matters. I was so happy listening to Dean sing to me. When he was done singing, peopled clapped even louder than the girl before. As he was walking off the stage towards me he was stopped by the girl earlier. Meghan, I think they said her name was. I could tell by her body language that she was trying to flirt with him but he just kept brushing her off. It was funny watching her face go from happy to really angry and stormed off.

He looked over at our table before leaning into the other woman and telling her something that made her storm away. Then he walked over to our table, sat right next to me and wrapped an arm around me. I blushed because I wasn't sure I really wanted my team to know that I had pursued another hunter. He looked over at me, smirked and leaned over to whisper something in my ear. "How'd you like the song." I smiled and looked into his eyes. I think I'm gonna play with some of his emotions. "It was ok. I've heard better." He didn't look very happy with my choice of words but kept his hand around me so he wasn't that mad at me. I laughed at how he thought I was serious.

"Tracy Johnson singing New Rules by Dua Lipa" This girl couldn't sing whatsoever but then again she was practically drunk off her ass. It was funny to watch her try and sing though. I mean it is the effort that counts. We all were respectful when she was finished. She stumbled off the stage and almost fell down walking back to her group. "Next up is Aurora Smith singing No One by Alicia Keys" I was walking on the stage when I heard a whistle. I turned and saw Dean with a smirk. I grabbed the microphone and started the song. I thought my voice was good but I could always be wrong.

When I finished the song I was walking off the stage when the same girl that was flirting with Dean walked over to me. "He can do a hell of a lot better than a bitch like you." I stared at her for a minute before shaking my head and walking towards my table. Dean stood up and grabbed me by the waist and spun me around. "You were amazing. I didn't know you could sing like that." I laughed as he spun me around. I was really falling for the man in front of me and it's scary to think of.

Charlotte's P.O.V

I watched the way Dean was watching Aurora sing. You can tell by the way he is looking at her that he really liked her. He seems nice enough I just hope he treats her right. She walked off the stage and the girl that stopped Dean did the same with Aurora but she didn't seem in a happy mood with her like she was with Dean. Don't do anything stupid. I don't really want to get kicked out.

"Next is Sam Winchester singing Everything by Michael Bublé"

Aurora and Dean didn't really notice that it is Sam's turn because they were so wrapped up in each other that nothing else mattered to them. Dean was spinning Aurora around and she was laughing until Dean lost his footing for a second. He caught himself but he put her on her feet and sat back down.

Sam finished up and Walked off the stage while people were clapping.

"Castiel Novak Singing Be your Everything by Boys like Girls" Really? A love song. I mean I could picture him doing something like that when we were together. He was singing with so much emotion. The singing wasn't that bad and for a moment I believed that he was still in love. I sat back and thought about everything that has been happening since he came back into my life. He never gave me a cold shoulder or acted mean toward me at all. He didn't even act like he didn't love me. He acted like he always has. As I kept thinking things through I realized that he still loved me.

He finished the song and walked off the stage. He looked a little sad while taking a seat at the table. I wish he never told me he didn't love me anymore because maybe I would still be with him and we'd both be happy, not miserable. Then I heard the announcer say my name and the song choice of Just Give me a Reason by P!NK. I walked up onto the stage. I do get a little stage fright so I take a deep breath before starting the song. I really wanted to put everything I had into the song because I really feel like this song sums everything up for me.

When I was finished with the song a lot of people were clapping. I got back to my seat and Aurora and Sophie stared at me for a minute before speaking. "Charlotte you were so great up there. Don't you think so Sophie?" She nodded in response. I blushed. I never really told them that I could sing because I just don't like to share things like that.

"Last but not least Noah Williams singing Gives You Hell by All American Rejects" He had a good voice and used it to his advantage because he was trying to get a bunch of girls attention so that he could sleep with one. Typical Noah. Always trying to get into bed with someone. I have to admit though, he isn't on a case so it's ok. After he finished his song we stayed for another hour while Noah tried to score which didn't happen so we went back to the motel before heading back to the bunker tomorrow.
