Chapter Five

Aurora's P.O.V

After Charlie told us her background story and why she doesn't like Cas now. He acted like a complete jerk. Maybe I could talk to him. I looked back into the rearview mirror to see that Charlotte has a couple tears down her cheeks. He really hurt her but maybe things can change for the best.

Charlotte's P.O.V

We have made it to the halfway point which is Rock Springs, Wyoming. We were all just bored, tired, and hungry so we decided to find a motel and then get some food. So they stopped at the motel, checked in, put our stuff in the room and then sent Aurora to go get everyone food. Noah was sitting on the couch watching tv and Sophie is sitting on one of the beds reading another folklore book while I decided watch tv with Noah but i really wasn't watching it. I just kept thinking about my past.

Why did he really show up? I don't see why he would want to see me again after he told me he didn't love me? I had just started to get over him and started to see if I could ever find someone who I could love the way I really fell for Cas but he had to come by and ruin it because now I'm back to where I started.

I just wanted to just go back to our safehouse and stay there until my group is done helping but i knew that was not going to be the case with this one. Cas seemed really out of sorts when he visited earlier today. He seemed genuinely concerned about me saying no. I didn't even hear the door to the motel open until Noah was waving his hand in front of my face. I looked over to see that the two girls sitting at the small table with three bags of food. She pulled out four burgers, a salad, three sodas, a water, and three fries. Sophie had the salad and water, Noah had two burgers while Aurora and I had one. We all sat around in comfortable silence eating. When we finished up we decided that going to bed would be the best bet so that we could get up really early to head out early since we already got almost 14 hours out of the way. Aurora got one of the queen size beds to herself while Sophie and Noah shared the second one and I took the couch.I am just happy to sleep and hopefully get some composure because i knew that i was going to have to face Cas sometime tomorrow.

I get up the next morning feeling like I slept only a few minutes when in reality it was a few hours. I kept having dreams about before he left me and broke my heart. I was happy in those memories but that was the past and those things only lead me to think about what happened. We did a lot of the driving yesterday so now we only have close to 10 hours left and we decided that we would leave at five in the morning so we should arrive around 3 in the afternoon. They all seemed happy to get on the road to just get this hunt started. I don't blame them they go out of their minds when they are in between hunts. Cas really only gave us a town to meet at so when we get to town we are going to have to get cass to give us more directions but until then I rested my head on the glass of the door in the backseat and try to take a nap.

Cas came over to me and told me he had a surprise for me and that I should get some shoes on. After I put them on Cas went behind me and put a thin cloth around my eyes so that i wasn't able to see anything. He must not remember that I am clumsy and that I should never be trusted to walk without my eyesight.

We were walking for what felt like an hour when in reality it was only like two minutes when he finally stopped and i couldn't feel his hands in mine. What is going on? Where is he?"Cas. Where are we going?" I laughed. I could hear shuffling around me but I couldn't place what exactly was going on. I finally heard his footsteps come closer and then he slowly took the blindfold off and what I saw was absolutely beautiful.

In front of me was a garden with perfectly green grass and a red checkered blanket lay on the grass with a rather big basket right next to it. This is so amazing! I turned around to see that Cas is smiling so I rushed over to him and jumped into his arms. I looked into his eyes and knew that this is where I wanted to be. This was the happiest i have been in a long while. I leaned over and kissed him. It was such a passionate kiss that when we separated we stared at each other for another moment before Cas put me back on my feet, grabbed both of my hands and lead me over to the little picnic perfect for two.

As we ate I saw that hen was a little distant. He was literally fading away. What? "Cas, wait. Cas please come back. CASTIEL!" Then I saw that I was in that motel room with Cas standing right in front of me saying the words, "I don't love you" over and over again. I stared at his face. It was cold and unnerving to see his face like that again. I started to form tears in my eyes as I stared at the face I was still completely in love with.

I woke up to Noah shaking me awake. "Charlie, you need to wake up. We're in Kansas."
