Aurora's P.O.V
The next morning I woke up to arms wrapped around me and my feet tangled up with Deans again. I love waking up to this every morning. I decided to stay in bed until Dean woke up to see his reaction. I lay facing away from him for another ten minutes before I felt his arms tighten around me. I close my eyes to make it look like I was still sleeping. He shifted and wrapped his arms tighter around me before snuggling further into me and falling back asleep. I didn't really want to get out of bed and I especially didn't want to leave the warmth that was Dean Winchester. I smiled and fell back asleep.
Charlotte's P.O.V
I woke up and stayed in bed staring at the ceiling hoping that it would give me the answers that I was looking for. Aurora's words kept running through my head like a broken tape. You need to stop being so scared of your feelings, it will only hurt you in the long run. If you don't take chances what's the point of living? She told me to take a chance and I did by kissing Cas. I didn't know if it was the right move but after what Aurora said about.
After about a half hour of just lying in bed, I decided enough is enough. I would have to face my demons one way or another why not let it be sooner rather than later. I grabbed a plain black tank top with a see through black shirt and jeans before heading into the bathroom to take a shower. I did the rest of my morning routine before heading into the kitchen to see who was already awake. Turns out it was only Sam and Sophie. They looked like they were in a serious conversation so I walked into the upper part of the war room which consisted of bookshelves and looked to see what they had. I ended up grabbing a book on hindu myths and legends. It seemed interesting enough so I took a seat on one of the loveseats around and started on the book.
I was almost done with chapter two when I heard the noise of wings. I froze for a moment before looking up from the book to see that Cas was right in front of me. I knew that he wanted to talk so i put my finger up to show that I needed a moment or two, he nodded so I finished the chapter and closed the book. I could tell by the way he was playing with his hands and constantly looking down that he was really nervous. "Good morning Cas. What's up?" His head shot up so fast I was worried that he might have gotten whiplash. He looked me over for a moment before he took a seat right near me and looked into my eyes. His hand came up and slightly cupped my cheek before bringing our faces closer to bring our lips into a sweet and gentle kiss. When he pulled away he kept his hand on my cheek before speaking, "I know I didn't kiss you back last night and you were probably thinking of all the negative reasons why I didn't kiss back but I wanted to clarify that I was in shock that you actually kissed me after all this time. When I finally processed what you did, you were already in your room getting ready for bed. I didn't want to disturb you so I left. I'm sorry I was so horrible to you way back when. I promise that I will make sure you know everyday that I would never do that to you again. That was the most painful think I have ever done." I can't believe what I'm hearing. I have wanted him to say again. I know he already talked to me about his feelings but I didn't believe him. I think back to last night at the bar. He was singing to me and then when I walked back inside the bunker, he was sitting at the kitchen table waiting for me to get inside. He does truly care and I want to make sure he knows that I want to be with him as well.
"Cas, I love you. I never stopped, even when you pushed me away. I will always care about you. I want to make things work with us. I want to try again and forget all the hurt in the past." His smiles goes from ear to ear and he leans over to give me another kiss. I heard a squeal and jumped away from Cas to see that Sophie was standing at the top of the stairs with her hands covering her mouth. "Sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt anything I was just getting a book for Sam. I got it so I'm just gonna head back downstairs. Carry on." She hurried away while I looked at Cas ready to start laughing. He smirked as well and leaned in for another kiss.
Later everyone was up and dressed so we went for a late breakfast.
We got to this diner that seemed to be decent and got seated immediately. They had the usual choices; eggs, pancakes, waffles. I decided to get pancakes with a size of bacon and toast. The waitress came to take our order when I noticed that Noah was staring at the girl with his mouth hanging open. She was pretty with long blonde hair and green eyes and looked to be around 5'6''. He will never learn. He started to order but he kept stuttering so Dean stepped in to help. Noah's cheeks and ears were stained pink. I tried to hold in my laugh along with Aurora but it didn't last that long when Dean decided to chuckle and pat Noah's back. He looked back over to the girl and then got up to walk over to her.
I knew where this was heading but I hoped that he would actually find some interest in her so that he could finally be happy. They all deserve to be happy after everything they've been put through. I watched as they started talking and laughing together. He seemed to genuinely like her. He normally tries to pull off this tough guy act but here he seems to be acting like a normal guy. The waitress whose name I couldn't read, handed Noah a piece of paper with, no doubt, her number on it. He smiled and then took a seat at the counter. I laughed a little. So much for a nice outing together. I turned to see that Cas was watching me. I gave him a funny look and leaned my head on his shoulder. I was still really tired but I didn't really want to go back and take a nap. I wanted to sit on the couch wrapped in Cas' arms while reading a book. The waitress arrived shortly after with our food. I decided to try and read her name tag while she was close. Nabirye. It's uncommon but a nice name.
We ate with minimal chatter, paid and headed back to the cars. Noah seemed very reluctant to leave but with a little arm pulling he walked out the door. I guess that girl must have really had an effect on him because he stayed quiet the entire ride back to the bunker. Aurora and Dean went back to their room followed by Sam and Sophie. Noah decided to sulk in his own room as well which only left me and Cas. I looked over to see that he had a smirk on his face. "What are you up to?" I decided to ask cautiously. He took a couple steps towards me until we were nose to nose. I took a sharp breath in and he leaned down and kissed me again. I missed this. I missed being able to kiss him whenever I wanted and to cuddle up to him when I decided that I wanted to act like a human and sleep. He wrapped his arms around my waist while I ran my fingers through his soft black hair. I never wanted to stop.
We finally broke apart and walked toward the couch. I sat down and he ran up the steps to where the books were and walked down with one in his hands. He moved me until we were lounging on the couch with me between his legs. He handed me the book on hindu myths I was reading this morning. I looked up and smiled at him then kissed him softly on the lips before opening the book up to Chapter three. We stayed like this for most of the day and it was the happiest I've been in a long time.
him still loving me and wanting to be with me I just believed that I could try and see what his reaction would be. He didn't kiss me back when I did. Why? If what Aurora said was true, why didn't he kiss me back?
