A: I fail to see why everyone is so upset by this. They were traitors to the Empire. Their destruction was a warning to other planets what happens when you betray the Empire. Perhaps now knowing the consequences people will stop assisting the rebels."

A: She needs to learn that her actions have consequences. She disobeyed a direct order and now she is paying the penalty.
