Skylar's POV:
I gasp at the sight of Demetri and immediately sidestep away from Kody.
I can feel the tension rise as I look down at the ground, not looking De in the eyes.
"A guys goes to the bathroom for 10 minutes to take a shit... And then what?" De says in a mocking tone.
I hear Kody crack a nervous laugh and cross my arms around my chest.
There is complete silence except for the murmuring that's coming from the kids.
"I heard arguing" Demetri says then.
I look up at my relieved mother as she speaks "Yes, It was about Skylar's hair".
I roll my eyes but dont deny it when De looks at me questionably.
"Yea-yeah, we were talking about how her hair might be tangly" Kody says innocently.
De whips his head towards Kody and hisses: "Why.... Are you still here?"
"He's welcome here, Demetri." I say as I walk up to Kody and grasp his hand. Kody immediately tightens his grip and sighs at our contact.
I look up from the floor to see Demetri absolutely flabbergasted.
Demetri's POV:
What. The actual. Fuck.
That's all that is going through my head as I look down at their two conjoined hands. All the memories that Sky told me, about what he did to her, come rushing back.
Every lie, every promise, everything about that relationship that he's ever broken, looks like there is nothing wrong.
And for an odd reason it makes me sick.
"Jena?" I croak out.
"Yeah?" my sister says, whipping around to face me.
"Having fun?"
"Yep" she states, popping the 'p'.
"Are you two gonna kiss again?" Jax asks out of nowhere, pointing to Sky and Kody's hands.
I look at Sky with a hurt look and gulp.
"Can I talk to you, Skylar?"I pit through clenched teeth.
I see Kodys arms go protectively around her and it makes my blood boil.
"She's not your fucking slave Kody, she can come if she wants" I spit out, earning a scoff from Mrs Wes for my language.
Sky turns around to face him and engulfs him in a hug. I make a gagging noise and he reluctantly drops his arms.
Sky walks slowly across the room and past me into the hallway. I smirk at Kory before joining her.
Turning back at Sky I let her have it.
"Wanna explain why in the actual hell you two are acting like that?" I practicality scream at her.
"I dont know" she whispers, looking at the floor.
"This is the second time you have seen him in months! How are you guys all over each other?"
"He makes me feel as if he has never left" she says confidentiality.
"Oh that's a load of bull" I fire back.
She looks me dead in the eye, challenging me: "You aren't... jealous, right De?" she says innocently, a smirk appearing.
"Not of that douchebag, that's for daaamn sure." I say without thinking.
She looks hurt for a second but shakes it off.
Skylar's POV:
Looking him dead on I respond.
"Well that 'douchebag' brought us together, ever think about that?"
I see something flash in his eyes but I walk back into the kitchen before he gets a chance to speak.
Walking into the kitchen I find my mother at the door looking red, obviously eavesdropping.
Instead of reprimanding her I walk straight into Kodys awaiting arms.
I nuzzle my head in his neck and relax at him running his fingers through my hair. I automatically freeze and think of Ryan. I pray to god that his hand doesn't get stuck.
"He called me a douchebag" he mumbles into my hair.
"I did too" I giggle.
He stiffens up and drops his hands from mine. I pout at him and watch him back up, a hurt look on his face
"I didn't mean it though. Kody!" I whine, stepping forward.
He slightly shakes his head and I run at him, taking him by surprise.
He laughs and stumbles at my sudden weight but adjusted quite quickly.
I wrap my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck.
I flush as he rests his hands up high on my thighs.
He grins mischievously as I press my lips on his. Our kiss is briefly interrupted by someone clearing their throat.
Dont forget to VOTE AND COMMENT it helps me out bunches:)
