I sighed with happiness and leaned against the tree. What is it about candy that makes everything awesome? I wondered as I watched the twins go at it about how Aaron wanted to change my nickname to Jeff the killer.

"You can't honestly say that you see the similarities between them." Aaron said with a stone cold face while Sofia was ranting about history or something like that.

"You know Aaron you should really join the debate club I'm sure they're love your poker face." I said coolly, cracking a smile when the twins glared at me for interrupting their 'very important and serious talk.' (please note the sarcasm.)

They then ignored me and went back to their argument. I just pulled my hood over my head and decided to have deep peaceful thoughts.

"HEY BITCH!" a very shrill and annoying voice screamed out, Unnecessarily grabbing everyone's attention. I groaned not bothering to look up.

'So much for peaceful.' I thought bitterly.

"Hey whore I'm talking to you." I sighed before replying "Rebecca how am I the whore when you had that cold sore in the 9th grade?"

I looked up and smirked when I saw her face go red with anger. She looked like she was going to say something but instead took a deep breath and said "Can you tell me why you dragged my cousin Blake off and went fucking psycho on him for no reason."

I looked behind Rebecca and sure enough there was the freshman who pulled on my hood earlier. He looked completely pissed at Rebecca then terrified when he saw me looking at him. I laughed a bit before saying "Ok one Rebecca I didn't 'go fucking psycho' on him for no reason and two doesn't your cousin ...Blake was it? Ah I don't care know that old saying snitches are bitches?"

She looked like she was going to scream when Blake came up and pulled her back into the building. I sighed and said "Well there goes the fuck I almost gave." I smiled as Sofia laughed while Aaron frowned at me.

After lunch school went by pretty quick and before I know it I was waiting by the gate to the elementary school for Alex to come out. While I was waiting I pulled my iPod out and started to play my favorite song.

Your magic white rabbit~
Has left it's writing on the wall~
We follow like Alice~
And just keep diving down the hole~
We're falling and we're losing control~
Your pulling us and dragging us down~
this dead end road~

I snapped back to reality when I felt someone tug on on my sleeve. I opened my eyes and looked down and saw Alex's smiling face. I smiled back and ruffled his as we walked back home.

I sighed as I poked my food with my fork, glancing at my dad ranting about stuff that happened at work and Alex trying to hide his broccoli under mom's watchful eyes.

"Jenna you need to eat something." Mom said not even bothering to look at me. I mumbled back "I'm not hungry."

"If you're not hungry you can leave the table." Dad said before going back to eating. I hummed as I got up from my chair and walked to my room.

My room is pretty simple. It's just a bed, a closet, table, and a nightstand. The best thing in here was the old tv my dad wanted to throw away but I got instead and the playstation I got on my 10th birthday. I had to beg mom and dad for that gift.

After locking my door I went into to make sure my kit was still there. As anyone can tell you having schizophrenia tends to make you a lot more paranoid then the 'normal' person. That being I kinda home alone the house.

Just a little bit.

Did a few odd jobs here and there and after a while I managed to earn enough money to order easy to hid nanny cams. They also came with a mini screen so I could easily see everyone and everything in every room and record the footage when I'm at school.

I also got a pair of walkie talkies one for me and one for Alex. I kept mine in my drawer. Also kept a few hunting knifes I got from grandpa. secretly of course. There was also a large kitchen knife and three switchblades. Those I got from grandma. God I love my grandparents. They were all neatly packed in a large old first aid kit under my bed.

Once I saw it hasn't been touched I walked over to the table, turned on the t.v and tuned onto Animal Planet. Just in time to catch a documentary marathon about foxes! I got so excited I kinda let out a fangirl squeal. I can't help it I love foxes.

I loved them so much that I had grandma teach me how to sew so I could sew on the ears of a old fox doll onto my favorite hoodie.
... I just realized how lame that sounded.

I stayed up all night watching t.v. When the marathon ended (I think around 11:00) I turned off the t.v, hid my favorite switchblade under my pillow for sweet dreams and at least tried to go to bed. Knowing full well it be a good couple of hours before I could.

~~~~~~~~~~~TIME SKIP~~~~~~~~~~~~
Creak creak crrreeeeeaaaaaakkkkkk
My eyes shot open. 'God damn it'
After god knows how long. I was so close to fucking sleep then someone decided to go creeping around the house an-wait! Who the hell is doing that!?
Mom and Dad get so hopped up on sleeping pills there's no way they're be up in the middle of the night. It can't be Alex because well all those horror movies we watched made him not too fond of the dark. He would've called me on the walkie talkie if he needed anything. So that left only one explanation.
Someone was in the house.
