Piper P.O.V
"Let me guess your having a party and it's a valentines day themed party?" I say as I close my locker door and look at Alyssa.
Since freshman year all Alyssa did on the 14th of February is throw a Valentine's Day birthday party. Every year she asks me to guess what she's doing on her birthday and it's always the same. Apart from this year.
"Noooooo." She smirks in a evil way.
"Okay I give up then, what's happening on the 14th of February?"
She smirks again.
"We are going to a cabin!!!!" She squeals.
"Seriously? Your parents are letting you go for your 18th?" I grin brightly.
She nods.
"That's amazing!!!" I jump and hug her and she hugs me back.
Then I hear it.
"But..." She whispers.
I let her go and look at her.
"What's the but?" I shake my head.
"We need to be supervised." She rolls her eyes.
"Like who? Your mum?" I ask.
"No someone nearer our age."
"Zara is responsible?" I suggest.
She grits her teeth.
"For god sake Alyssa who is it?" I get annoyed at her.
"Ryan." She whispers.
"My brother?" I shake my head.
"I'm not going, no chance." I walk away and head to class.
"Hear me out Piper." She follows me like a puppy and stands in front of me.
"Pretty please?" She clasps her hands in front of me begging.
I stop and nod, signalling to her that she can speak.
"We just need Ryan to say that he will supervise but he doesn't actually need to be there." She says enthusiastically.
"So you want me to ask Ryan to lie for us?"
She nods and stares at me with her big eyes.
"Fine, but I can't guarantee anything." I point to her and warn her as I take my phone out and move to the side of the corridor.
I dial Ryan's number and after two rings he answers.
"Hello."
"Hey bro what's happening?" I say with a fake smile.
"What do you want brat?" He groans.
"Just checking to see how my favourite brother is?" I look at Alyssa, she nods at my fake attitude.
"Piper, I'm going to hang up what do you want?" He says annoyed.
"Fine, Alyssa wants to have her 18th birthday party in her parents cabin but her parents say yes as long as you supervise. So we need you lie and say you'll supervise." I say quickly.
"Say please!" Alyssa whispers to me.
I roll my eyes.
"Please."
He doesn't speak for a few seconds.
"Ok." Alyssa and I look shocked.
"Okay?" I ask again.
