Hi! I'm back! The first chapter was really short and it wasn't very good either (sorry) so I will try and make up for it this time. Anyway, read on!

I looked around the street I was in, for what seemed to be the hundredth time. It might be District 13. I had heard rumours that it was being rebuilt. This might be it, but the chances of that were slim. If I asked around I might get some idea of my whereabouts. I saw a man walking towards me. He had dark hair which was tied in a ponytail at the back of his head, and his clothes were quite dirty. I walked up to him and asked if it was District 13.

"What is District 13?" he asked me, as if he had never heard of it. "you known,' I said, "The district that was bombed in 2449". Was he stupid? Were they not taught about the rebellion here?

"The year 2449? Its the year 1761," he said, looking at me as if I was mad. "No, its 2524," I said, stating the obvious. Did this guy have brain damage or something?

"You must have hurt your head when the pirates attacked last night," he said, "anyway. Whats your name?" Was he serious? I'm not going to go around, telling people my name if I have no idea who they are, especially if they think its 1761. And pirates had been gone for ages. But it did look like someone had attacked, what with the broken windows, smashed doors,it even looked like a scaffolding had fallen. I decided to tell him my name anyway. Best know at least one person here, right?

"Clove," I told him.

He stared at me blankly for a while, and then said, "whats your last name, Miss Clove?"

"Its Emstoret," I told him.

He thought for a moment. "I'm Will Turner," he told me, "my uh, my friend, Elizabeth Swann, Governor Swann's daughter, was taken by the pirates last night. I'm going to look for her. You didn't happen to see the direction their ship took when they left, did you?"

"Ship? The only ships in Panem are in District 4," I said. Did people from 13 really not know about the rest of Panem? Unless it really was 1761. No. That wouldn't happen. How could I have gotten to the 18th century?

I dismissed that idea straight away. "What is Panem?" Will asked. Was he really that stupid?

"Panem," I said, stating the obvious for the second time, "is the country that we live in. It is the last country on earth still populated by the human race. We are in Panem right now!" I was starting to get annoyed. Did he really not know what the name of his own country was?

"This," Will said, looking at me incredulously, when he was the dumb one, "is Port Royal."

"Yeah? And where is Port Royal? Am I in some weird part of District 4 or something? I mean unless after the bombing in 2449 you rebuilt District 13."

"What are the districts?" he asked me, "and why do you keep going on about 2449? As I told you, this is Port Royal, 1761."

1761. That pulled me up short. He sounded really sure of himself. Maybe, just maybe, I had actually gone back in time. No, that was Imposable. But it would explain all the weird clothes the people were wearing, the strange accent and the fact that I could see the sea from here, which I had only just noticed. There was a path above the water and along the path were ships. It looked as though people were loading stuff onto them. Some of the stuff resembled jewelry.

Then I remembered the necklace. Could that really have taken me time? I felt for the necklace which had been in my had only seconds ago, only now it wasn't. It wasn't hanging around my neck either. I must have dropped it after I arrived here. Had I really lost it that easily? Maybe I was stuck, here in the past, and if I was it was going to take me for ever tp get used to the lifestyle here.
