A/N I'v decided I might make a sequel after I finish this book, but depends on the amount of reads and votes. So if you think this book is worthy of a sequel, vote, comment, fan and read on.

I ran over to Will who was laying down a wooden board from the ship down to the dock. "So now we're going to find a crew her, right?" I asked him. He stood up and wiped his hands on his shirt.

"Yes. We'll probably have to stay over night as well. Jack told me he knew someone here who would help us," he told me. I nodded and slowly walked away.

A pirate port. So did that mean everyone here would be like Jack? I hoped not. A place where you couldn't trust anyone you saw didn't sound to good, but I had been to a place like that before. The arena. The place you couldn't be certain of an alliance was genuine or if they were just going to murder you that night.

I tore my thoughts from the Games and back to the present. Jack and Will were already walking down the plank Will had put there. "Clove! Give me the mooring line! Quickly!" Jack yelled from the dock. "It's near the helm!"

"Hey, why should I have to do it?" I asked as I had no idea what the helm was.

"Because your the only one on board."

"So just 'cause I'm on board I have to get your stupid ropes. Is that right?"

"Clove, stop being difficult. We really need to get going!"

"Well, if we really need to get going, why don't you do it then? I don't even know what the mooring line is!"

"Oh, fine! I'll do it!" yelled Will. He ran up the plank of wood and over to the wheel, where he picked up a rope and threw it down to Jack.I walked down the plank myself and onto the dock, where Jack was tying the rope onto the dock. Will threw another rope over and ran from the Interceptor to tie it. I sat down on the dock and waited for them to finish. Once they did, we started to walk into Tortuga.

It was the loudest, most disgusting, putrid place I had ever see. Drunks everywhere, women with way to much makeup and ridiculous hair styles, who were, by the looks of it, also drunk. People smashed windows and some were even thrown from balconies. Everywhere we went the smell of alcohol was thick in the air. I looked at Will and saw he also wore an expression of disgust.

Jack seemed to be enjoying himself. "How can you stand it here?" I asked him. When he turned to me I saw a bottle of what looked like rum clenched in his had. I snatched it from him and threw it away, onto the cobblestones.

"Oi. What was that for?" he asked angrily.

"Well I don't want to be walking around with a bunch of drunks all night, and I'm sure Will feels the same," I yelled to him over the yelling of millions of other people. "And I really don't know how you can stand it here. It's disgusting."

"Ah. I see you've never been here, have you? Well love, it gets better, much better, the longer you stay here. For instance the very person we will be visiting thought the same as you two did at first, and now, he lives here," Jack told me, gesturing around him.

"Ugh. He lives here?"

"Yes. He lives here. And more importantly, it is indeed a sad life that has never breathed deep this sweet, proliferousbouquet that is Tortuga, savvy? What do you think?"

"It'll linger," said Will, side-stepping someones foot. I snickered.

"I tell you mate," Jack said to Will, "If every town in the world were like this one, no man would ever feel unwanted." This earned him a sharp jab in the ribs from me.

"Ow! What was that for!?" he yelled at me. I saw a woman with red curls and a matching red dress which looked five sizes to small, advancing towards us."Scarlet!" Jack said, and he was greeted with a hard slap on the cheek. Scarlet walked of towards the bunch of rowdy people she had been conversing with before.
