A/N I can't really think of anything to write here so I'll just say vote, comment, etc.

I stared at Elizabeth who stood on the plank, looking tentatively down at the water below her. My guess was that we shared the same amount of skill when it came to swimming. The big, red dress she was wearing wouldn't help either. Both the crews had assembled and Barbossa stood, watching, a grin on his face. I didn't blame him. Watching people get killed could definitely be fun, especially if it was you doing the killing.

I looked around the deck, searching for any familiar faces. My eyes locked on Will who was slowly making his way towards Barbossa, half of the undead crew trying to restrain him. "Barbossa, you lying bastard!" he yelled once he reached their captain. "You swore she'd go free!" In the background the evil pirates were yelling at Elizabeth to jump, go on, and dive.

"Don't dare impugn me honor boy. I swore she'd go free, but it was you who failed to specify when or where." He had Will gagged and taken away. "Though it does seem a shame to lose something so fine, don't it, lads," he continued. His crew clamored in agreement. "So I'll be having that dress back before you go."

While Elizabeth took the dress off - she was wearing another one, a plain, white one underneath - I reached into my pocket, searching for my knife. Then I remembered I had lost both in my attempt at rescue before the Interceptor was blown sky high. Sighing in annoyance, I turned my attention back to the scene before me.

The crew of the Black Pearl had started wolf whistling.  Elizabeth threw the dress at Barbossa with as much force as she could. "Goes with your black heart,"  she snarled.

He lifted the dress up to his cheek. "Ooh, it's still warm." I shuddered in disgust as he threw it behind him and his crew started grabbing at it.

Elizabeth had turned back to the water, looking down as if searching for a hidden trapdoor that would open beneath her if she jumped. She stood there, not daring to move. An impatient cry came from the crowd. "Too long," the Bo'sun said, and stamped on the blank of wood, jolting it violently. Elizabeth shrieked and fell into the sea.

I was about to watch her attempts at swimming, when two sets of hands grasped my shoulders and shoved me onto the plank. I turned around and saw Ragetti and his friend smirking. "Ah, so this is the little violent lass I was informed of," exclaimed Barbossa. I hated being called little. At 5.4 I was extremely short for a fifteen year-old. My birthday was in a few weeks as well, but I didn't expect to celebrate it. I never did.

"If you think I'm just going to walk straight into the ocean, you must have serious mental problems," I growled. Everyone started laughing, though I think for different reasons (Crew of Black Pearl laughing at my attempt at a snide comment, and Crew of long gone Interceptor laughing at Barbossa).

"Ah. Well, ye see, you won't be walking into the sea." An undead pirate pushed me forward and I felt myself fall into the freezing water. It stung my eyes, but I ignored it. This time I was clever enough to not breath in the water, but it didn't make swimming any easier. The water here was shallow and I soon made up my own swimming routine. Sink to the bottom, push yourself forward and back to the surface at the same time. Following this routine, I made slow progress to the island, but somehow managed to catch up to Elizabeth.

As I emerged from the water, Elizabeth standing in front of me, I was notified of someone else walking behind me, by the sound of splashing. I turned around to see Jack following us. I sighed heavily and continued up the beach. "That's the second time I've had to watch that man sail away with my ship." I turned to Jack and saw him shaking off ropes that had been tied to his wrists. He was looking into the distance where the Black Pearl was sailing into the distance.
