A/N Hi. This chapter is dedicated to Jordysobczak for being a great and awesome friend and fan. Any ways, vote, comment and fan!

As the storm hit, it felt as though the ship was going to tip. It rocked back and forth violently, making it almost impossible for me to walk anywhere without tripping over my own feet. Massive waves came, most of them washing over and onto the deck. I saw a couple of unfortunate sailors get dragged out by the currant. The rain pelted down on us, each drop feeling like a small shard of glass.

It was surprisingly quite on board. No one talked, just worked on whatever part of the ship they had been assigned to. No one barking orders or even attempting conversation. I didn't like it. In District 2, if a storm like this broke out unexpectedly, it would be complete chaos. Here everyone seemed almost calm. Even the sailors who had been dragged out by the wave had been reasonably quiet. It was eerie.

After ten more minuets of the quiet storm, I had had it. I ran across the deck, trying to reach the downstairs ladder. Before I could reach it, however, another towering wave came, smashing onto the deck with such force, I thought the wooden boards that held it together would break from the pressure. It swept over me, knocking me to the ground. I screamed as the wave started to drag me from the deck.

I grabbed hold of the railing that was the only thing between me and certain death. "I'm getting out of here!" Everyone ignored me as I slowly got upright and started towards the ladder before I could get swept away again. I ended up falling the whole way down into the hammock room, as the ship shuddered violently.

I sat up looking around for something stable to hold onto. Finding nothing but the ladder - a lot of water was starting to come through the opening to the deck - and hammocks, I carefully made my way around the room until I found a second ladder, one I hadn't noticed before. Climbing down, I found myself in a room containing a desk, a bed, and a cabinet. On top of the cabinet sat a globe of the earth.

For something to preoccupy myself with, I took the globe and sat on the desk. Looking at the globe, I was able to find Panem. It was much bigger than the maps at school had shown. The Wild Lands weren't marked either. It had changed so much, I couldn't pin point any of the Districts, or the Capitol.

As I sat there, I noticed it had grown rather quiet above me. The rain had stopped and only the sounds of thunder in the distance could be heard. We had made it through alive. Well, most of us had. I silently hopped Will and Annamaria had made it, and were not one of the unfortunates who had been swept out, into the sea. I guess I didn't want Jack to die either, but it wouldn't be as bad as losing the other two.

I heard footsteps coming in my direction, and before I could get out, I saw Jack standing in the door way. I sighed. "What do you want?" I asked, a somewhat bored tone to my voice. He walked over and sat down beside me.

"Well, considering you are the one in my room, I should be asking you what you are doing here."                I sighed and stood up, placing the globe back on the cabinet.

"I didn't know this was your room. I just needed somewhere to go so I could have a bit of time by myself. I'v never actually been on a ship in a storm before." Then another thought occurred to me. "Hey, why aren't you up there, telling everyone what to do? I thought that was your job as captain."

"Clove, just 'cause I'm captain, I doesn't mean I tell everyone what to do every second of the day. And as to why I'm here, we have almost arrived at the Isle de Muerta. When we do get there, Will and I will row over to the cave, where Elizabeth will be being held captive. Now, will you be wanting to come with us?" He sounded hopeful when he spoke. "It will be extremely dangerous, you know."
