Banished from Berk

Chapter 4

BACK AT BERK

Astrid and the other teen vikings were hanging about in the Great Hall.

        "I wonder what happened to Hiccup. I haven't seen him since yesterday." Astrid stated.

        "Probably dead." replied Tuffnut. Him and his twin both laughed while Snotlout just smiled a bit. Astrid clearly did't find it funny, as she narrowed her eyes and punched Tuff in the shoulder.

        "Ow!" he said as he stumbled to regain his footing.

        "Come on guys, this is serious!" Astrid continued.

        "Hey why do you care about that twig all of a sudden? You should be caring about me!" Snotlout...still trying for a girl he knows he'll never get. Astrid slapped him in the back of the head.  "Hey! That hurt!'

        "Good! And I care because did you not see what happened yesterday? He nearly got killed!"

        "And it was hilarious!" Ruffnut joined in.

        "Hilarious? Hiccup was about to proove that dragons aren't that bad and--"

        "Hey how come you didn't hit her?" Tuff interupted, and for that, Astrid elbowed him in the chest. He held himself and growned in pain.

        "And that we don't have to live in war. Then his dad butted in and that's what ticked off the dragon! If it wasn't for Stoik, Hiccup could have saved us all from more fighting!"

        "Uhhh, whaaa?" the twins said in unison.

        "Did you just undergo the chife?" Snotlout demanded.

        "Are you serious? Dragons...and Vikings.....not in war?" Fishlegs stated.

        "Of course I'm serious Fishlegs! Look, I saw what Hiccup was up to and I know how he got so good at dragon training. He really did shoot down a Night Fury that night!"

         "Wait, the Night Fury that jumped in the arena?" Fishlegs interupted.

        "Yes he's been training him in the cove in the forest!"

        There was a pause as the teens stared at Astrid, intreeged by what she was saying, then all imidiatly started laughing at her.

        "Good one, Astrid! Ha!" Snotlout said between laughs.

        "Yeah you really had me goin!" Ruff told her.

        "Ugh this isn't a joke! I'm serious! Hiccup really did train a Night Fury, I saw him! He named it Toothless!" Astrid added to try to get them to believe her. They continued laughing.

        "Toothless? Toothless! Ah, babe you realy have gone nuts!" Snotlout laughed.

        "I'm NOT nuts! I'll proove it!" Astrid challanged as she pushed through her friends and stormed off.

        "Yeah good luck with that!" Tuffnut called out to her.

        "Don't get eaten!" Ruffnut added as Astrid pushed open the huge double doors of the Great Hall.
