Toothless light the pile of sticks as Hiccup stuck a fish on a spear. "Ah, thanks Bud!" Toothless make an awkward, gummy smile. Hiccup chuckled at his dragon and hovered the fish over the fire.

Even with the open flames, the cave was still cold. During the day, the Viking and dragon didn't do much of anything. Collect food, go for a ride, take a dip in the lake, a small dragon fight would brake out every now and again. There would be much more to do back on the island of Berk. Hiccup actually missed the painful chores his dad would assign him, and, surprisingly, all the teasing and tormenting the other teenage Vikings would give him on a daily basis. This goes without saying, Hiccup was lonely. Of course he had Toothless, but a dragon can't have an actual conversation though, or target practise with you, or laugh, or play a prank, or  really do much of anything a human could do.

Hiccup let his fish cool, then bit into it as Toothless demolished the pile of dead marine life by the wall of the cave. It clearly didn't take long for Toothless to finish dinner!

Hiccup threw his fish remians into the boneyard Toothless created. "We'll get that tomarrow, Bud," he said, "We should get some shut eye, it's late" Toothless looked over at the Viking and rolled his eyes. "What? You can't say you're not tired yet-" Toothless cut him off with dragon sounds, mocking Hiccup. "Toothless" Hiccup glared at his dragon. The Night Fury finally surrenederd and walked over to where the human was, then plopped down behind him. "Goodnight, Bud' Hiccup said with a yawn as he curled up into his dragon.

BACK AT BERK

Another freezing cold day on berk, but of course the Vikings toughed it out. Each person went out thier chores and did what needed to be done. Stoik and Gobber were cleaning up rubble from a recent dragon attack on the outskirts of town.

"So, Stoik," Gobber started, "how's Hiccup been doing with the whole dragon thing. I havn't seen the lad  since it happened.

"You han't seen him because I banished him" Stoik answered with a slightly annoyed voice. He hefted some useless burt wooden planks and threw them over the edge of the cliff, you could here the spash when it hit the water.

"You wha?!" The information hit Gobber in the head like a brick. Stoik hasn't been talking much about anything since Hiccup's banisment, and he hasn't even told Gobber about his desicion untill now. "How could you banish your own son?" Gobber continued.

"I told him 'you're banish from Berk', that's how."While Gobber stoped working, Stoik just continued on his duties, as if this was an everyday conversation.

"Stoik, you just banished your own flesh and blood because of a wee dragon insadent!"

Stoik dropped the rubble he was holding, took a breath and stood up straight, then spun around. " It was not a wee dragon insadent," Stoik mocked, "That was as serious danger to the village!" He huffed.

"Danger to the village?"  Gobber asked bluntly, "Stoik, you saw how the Monstrous Nightmare olny attacked the lad when people started yellin'! And notice how the Night Fury didn't even touch Hiccup?" He explained.

"So what, now you're on the dragons' side?!"  Stoik bellowed furrociously.

"I'm just sayin', Skoik. Maybe the boy was right."

Stoik seemed to calm down and dewled in thought. Gobber was right, of course. Toothless would never hurt Hiccup! Clearly the rest of the village didn't agree, didn't care, or both.
