Banished from Berk

Chapter 6

BACK AR BERK

        The Deadly Natter was imidiatly unhappy with Astrid. She huddled to herself and forced her arm out with the fish to the dargon, as a peace offering. The Natter's eyes wided a bit as it sniffed the fish. The dragon relaxed and lowered it's wings and tale. The wild dragon opened it's mouth as if to breath fire, Astrid closed her eyes ready to except fate, but instead it scarfed down the fish.

        Astrid opened her eyes, glad and confused that she still had her hand along with her life. The dragon came closer and sniffed Astrid, knowing she had more fish with her.

        "Whoa, okay okay, little close there" Astrid said to the Natter. She coutiously untied all the fish, carefull not to touch it, and handed the boundle to the dragon.  It happily ate the dead fish, then went back to sniffing the Viking. "Uhh, sorry, t-thats all I have." Astrid confessed, still afriad.

        It was almost black now, and Astrid knew she had to get home. She took a quick look to find the gender of her new frind. Girl. "Alright girl, I gotta go now. The dragon made a small noise as Astrid backed away. "Okay, s-see you tomarro!" she said as she started to back away, but the Natter followed her. "Uh, no, girl. You have to stay here" she said as she put a hand up. The dragon seemed to understand, as it stopped in it's tracks, the closed it's eyes and lowered it's head into the palm of her hand. Astrd felt a shock go down her spine at the dragon's actions. Hiccup was right! Dragons can be nice!, Astrid thought. She smiled with happiness and glee!

        The Deadly Natter moved it's head away from her hand and stared at her. It flicked it's head forward and make a little chirping sound.

"Oh, right." Astrid stated as she remembered she had to leave. She turned arond and started forward, then turned back to the dragon, "I'll see you tomarrow , Girl!", then she ran off.

        Oh my gods! I just touched a dragon without dieing! Astrid couldn't keep her happiness contained. A huge smile spread from ear to ear. So many thoughts ran through her mind. Ohhh I can't wait to tell the others! No, no I can't. Who knows what they'll do. I gotta keep this to myself till later.
