Chapter 7:

Theo walked to the bathroom. He came back with a towel. She wiped the tears from her eyes but they just kept coming. She felt empty. How could she ever move on from this?

"Don't cry, little one," said Theo. He wiped off her body.

Nori whispered, "How could you? How could you do this to me?"

"Nori, you are my soulmate." He gently kissed her forehead. "Some day you will get past this. Now, how about you finish your food. We have the rest of the day ahead of us."

Nori rolled over, looking away from Theo. "Derek is my soulmate. I will never love you."

"You might as well put him out of your thoughts now because you're never going to see him again." Theo walked to the dresser and put on a fresh pair of boxers, then he went over to the closet and put on a t-shirt.

Nori wiped her tears again. Theo walked out of the closet. She grabbed her glasses off the nightstand, then she reached down to the discarded shirt she woke up in. As Nori sat up to put on the shirt Theo snatched it away from her.

"Hey! What did you do that for?" she cried. Nori took a few deep breaths trying to calm herself.

"I'm enjoying the view. Maybe I'll give it to you if you give me a kiss." Theo dangled the shirt just out of reach.

Nori covered her chest from view. "Haven't you already violated me enough?"

He made a pouty face. "Just one little kiss."

"Theo looks so cute,' she thought. 'I have to stop thinking like this.' Nori chastised herself. But it was hard to stop thinking about her favorite actor in that way. She had idolized him for so long. She was on fan pages and enjoyed watching all his movies. Now that she was stuck here she knew the true danger...that she'd fall for the same charm that made her a fan of his in the first place.

Nori quickly kissed him on the lips. Theo tossed her the shirt and she put it on and quickly buttoned it. He unchained her ankle and extended a hand to her. She reluctantly took it and went back to the table with Theo.

She quickly finished her food and slumped down on the table, avoiding eye contact. Her emotional exhaustion had finally overtaken her. She no longer had the energy to fight. She wanted to wrap herself in a blanket and fall asleep. Then with a clear head she'd attempt to escape again.

"Are you ready to have some fun?" asked Theo. He extended his hand to her. She looked up at him, shocked. Was he serious? Nori wanted to say no. But his temper was...unpredictable to say the least.

"Can I get some pants first?" whispered Nori, afraid he'd hit her for asking.

He chuckled and walked to the dresser. He threw her a pair of panties. She stood up and quickly put them on. "What about actual pants?"

Theo looked over her body. He smirked. "Those should be enough." He was certainly in a better mood than before. But it didn't make her feel any better.

Theo took Nori by the hand, pulled her out the door, walked her down the hall. He opened another door and brought her into the room, closing the door behind them, and making sure to lock it.

The room was some sort of multimedia center. He had a large TV, comfy chairs, and shelves upon shelves of movies and video games.

"Make yourself comfortable, little one." Not like she could be comfortable next to her rapist.

Nori sat in one of the chairs and saw a blanket. She covered herself. Theo sat next to her holding a few cases.

"So, I was thinking you could play a video game. I know you like them." She'd told him about her love of games and they'd bonded over that. Things could have been perfect if he'd just stayed her friend.

"What do you have?" He passed her the cases. She flipped through them. They were all platformers and first person shooters. The kind of games that you needed to be good or get good to play. She could play them, but she wasn't good.

"I'm not really a fan of these kind of games. I prefer games with turn based combat."

"Humor me."

"Fine. I'll try this one." She handed him a case. It was a game called Hollow Knight. She'd heard about it.

He turned on the TV and set up his Switch. He handed her the controller. When all she wanted to do was rest, he wanted her to focus. Just great.

Nori spent hours trying to master the controls. Every time she died she raged at the TV. For a brief moment she forgot she was sitting next to a villainous man who'd hurt her. She forgot her situation. For a short while she was in a trance, forgetting everything around her. Theo made her test her blood sugar, then she went back into her daze, just trying to forget everything.

Theo left the room to cook dinner and Nori snapped out of it. She was alone and she needed to find a way out. She ran to the window and looked down. She was in some high end part of London. There were neighbors. They could be the ones to help her. But realistically she needed to get a hold of the American Embassy. They were the only ones who could truly get her back home.

But how could she contact someone. Then it hit her. Most of these video game consoles were connected to the internet in some way. She quickly saved the game and quit. She needed to contact someone...anyone before Theo came back. She went to the menu to connect with friends. She had never used the Switch so she fumbled through the menu looking to see what she could do.

The door creaked open.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" growled Theo. He grabbed the controller.

She looked at him. "What...what do you mean?"

"I was watching you. You really think I'd leave you alone and not have some way to make sure you weren't doing something incredibly stupid?"

"I...I wasn't doing anything." It was a terrible lie and she knew it.

"It's not like you'd be able to connect to anyone. I'm smarter than that. There's absolutely no way to contact the outside world. I've made sure of it, Nori. Now, I suggest you apologize and give me a good reason not to punish you right now?"

"I...I...I'm sor...I'm sorry, Theo. I was scared. It was a mistake. It won't happen again. I promise. Please don't hurt me," she cried. Nori was shaking with fear.

Theo smirked at her. "That's what I like to hear." He turned off the Switch. He grabbed Nori by the arm and pulled her off the chair. She held the blanket around her. "You're coming down to the kitchen with me." Nori nodded. Theo took the blanket and threw it back on the chair. Nori followed behind him, completely at a loss for words. What was she gonna do now?
