Leilani P.O.V:

I've been here in Samoa for a month now, and all I've been doing is walking around bored out of my mind. I recently discovered a hidden waterfall in our backyard the other day. This morning I was awoken by my grandmother shaking me furiously saying if I don't wake up soon I will be late for school.

On my way out to wait for the bus, I saw my nana baking some cookies so I took a couple on my way out for breakfast. "Leilani you're gonna get fatter if you don't start eating healthy soon" My grandmother was always calling me fat saying I should go to the gym because I eat too much. I always told her that no matter how much I ate I never seemed to gain weight and it was true.

Walking up to school I was so nervous I thought about turning on my heel and walking the other way back to school.

I've been in the principal's office now waiting to get my timetable for 25 mins now and I was still waiting. The second bell had already rung signaling that school had now officially started and I was still here waiting, just as I was about to walk out "Leilani Faiava, the principal is now ready to see you" I turned to see a young lady about the age of 27 standing outside looking for me. She was tall wearing a very tight pantsuit with a bright shade of red lipstick on her lips. As I walked past her she seemed intimidating and told me to head in.

"Lina this is your 3rd time in my office this week" The principal Sighed Heavily

"Mr. Vaifale, I haven't done anything wrong. The first time I came here I admit it was completely my fault. But the previous time it wasn't and ..." This girl named Lina was putting up a very convincing act, she seemed like a troublemaker. As she went to take a deep breath, I took it as a chance to make my presence known.

"Ahh, you must be our new transfer student Leilani Faiava," He said in a friendly voice.

"Um yeah, I needed to get my timetable and get a briefing on the school's code of conduct," I said as I tripped landing very heavily on the floor a few centimeters away from the desks sharp corner

"My dear, are you okay? I haven't seen anyone do that here in my time of being the principal. Ah yes now Lina I have a job for you do you think you can do it?" He asked in a very low tone mostly giving Lina a very weird stare.

"Uhhhh, can I know what the favor is before I agree to any such deal," She said with a questioning face

"I would like you to take Ms. Faiava under your wing for the next few days until she finds the basics and is able to start doing things independently," He said while looking into my eyes for any type of protest

"You don't have to if you don't want to. I am completely fine finding my own way around" I quickly blurted out causing everyone in the room to stop and stare at me.

"While your just a ball of energy aren't you," She said causing her to let out a little laugh. " Mr. Vaifale, I would happily show. What's your name again?" she said looking at me.

"Leilani" I mumbled under my breath

" I would happily show Leilani around and hang with her for the next few days" She said with a bright smile.

And just like that he gave me my timetable and ushered me and Lina out of his office, claiming he had other matters to attend to.

Lina's P.O.V:

I was too busy arguing with the principal to notify the new person who had entered the room. But when she decided to knock while I took a breath I was surprised to see her standing in the doorway looking at our discussion. As I tried to go back into my discussion with the principal I couldn't help but check out the new girl. She was quite tall, had a nice tan and looked like she could be miss Samoa. As she came into office she tripped on something and landed face first onto the ground. I tried so hard to conceal any part of my face that showed me laughing on the inside.

After she took a seat she discussed started to discuss the code of conduct and her timetable with Mr. Vaifale, so as they went into detail I zoned off looking outside the window at 'Mr. Popular' sitting outside on his motorcycle.

Mr. Vaifale was asking if the new girl was alright. "Ah yes now Lina I have a job for you do you think you can do it?" He said drawing my attention back to what was happening in front of me.

"Uhhhh, can I know what the favor is before I agree to any such deal," I asked as he gave me a stern look making it known to me that I didn't quite have an option.

"I would like you to take Ms. Faiava under your wing for the next few days until she finds the basics and is able to start doing things independently," He said while still giving me that stern glare he gives me everytime I end up in his office.

But before I could say anything."You don't have to if you don't want to. I am completely fine finding my own way around" She said out of nowhere causing myself and the principal to immediately turn around and give her a confused stare.

"While your just a ball of energy aren't you," I said to her, as I let out a small amount of laughter that I've been holding out." Mr. Vaifale, I would happily show. What's your name again?"I asked politely since I wasn't paying attention to anything they were saying before.

"Leilani," She said mumbling under her breath. It was quite obvious that she was shy, and the first thing I would do once we get out of this stuffy office is introducing myself properly.

" I would happily shoe Leilani around and hang with her for the next few day" I said showing one of my biggest smiles. I agreed because I wanted to get out of the stuffy office and because I didn't have that many friends and saw it as an opportunity to socialise a bit more.
