The cat was actually a depressed person with a fatal disorder.

So he called his local therapist and got Prozac; a drug for depression.

He decided to take so much he became a rainbow unicorn with magical depression powers

The rainbow unicorn met another unicorn, that was immune to depression.

The other unicorn said this to try to get rid of his chronic depression, which haunted him daily.

So he took a sleeping pill and slit his wrists in a bathtub filled with water.
