Meeting Her Father

Paul's P.O.V.

It's been a week since I had last seen Makayla, but I did call her practically every night. She was coming by tomorrow to visit. She had the day off and was dedicating to us. I missed seeing her honestly, but it has been nice spending time with the others. Or at least John, George and Ringo were always with Katie and Callie. We were all falling in love and we each knew it too. George wasn't afraid to admit as to where Ringo just recently kissed Callie for the first time. I do little things for Makayla to let her know but I wont straight out say anything like that yet. It's only been a week and a half since we've met and I'd already told her she was my girlfriend. I didn't even ask. I just said it and I feel horrible about being so straight forward.

My thoughts were interrupted by the telephone ringing. "Hello?" I asked.

"Hey Paul!" I heard Makayla say and I smiled at the sound of her voice.

"Hi!" I said letting my excitement show.

"I know I promised I would spend my day off with you but I have to leave town tonight to go and visit my father." She sounded like she thought I would be upset.

"Oh, okay." I was actually was a little disappointed. I missed her and I couldn't see her unless I go to the diner when she returns to work.

"Or, you can come along with me." I'm sure she was smiling, "I did tell you that you have to meet him." She laughed

I was grinning, "I'd love to come! When are you leaving?"

"In about two hours. It's a six hour drive." She told me.

"Okay, I'll get my stuff together and be over in a few minutes if that's fine with you." I laughed.

"Okay, do you want me to take off another day or two so we can have a small vacation?" She asked.

"Only if you want, love." I told her.

"Okay, I'm calling in and taking off two more days then. I'm sure my father would enjoy the extra time of visitation."

"He won't mind me coming, would he?" I asked.

"No, like myself, he's a big fan and he'll be thrilled to meet you and then find out that I'm dating you." She giggled and I couldn't hold back my chuckle.

"Okay well I'm going to tell the lads I'll be gone for, three days right?"

"Correct."

"Okay see you soon!" I said.

"Okay, bye." I hung up and walked to my room and grabbed my suitcase.

I need to wear impressing clothes, I want her father to like me. I thought to myself.

"Where are you going?" John walked in.

"Oh, up to Ashburn with Makayla to visit her father." I said like it were no big deal.

He walked out of the room and then came back holding a box. He threw it at me and said "Be safe!" winking. I looked down at the box and they were condoms. I quickly threw them back and told him to get out. "Take them just incase lad." He walked out chuckling.

"I'll be back in a couple days lads!" I shouted to the others.

"Bye Paul!" Ringo yelled.

"Wrap it before you tap it!" John shouted.

"Shut up!" I felt my face redden.

"See you Paul." George shouted.

I walked to Makayla's apartment and she was still packing her stuff.
