Living with five guys

Chapter 8

After getting everything set up, I jumped in the shower. after two minutes I was out of the shower and in my room. that was the fastest I have ever showered and I was proud of it.

I blow dried my hair and curled it as quickly as I could. Garrett came in, after I was sat down still curling my hair asking if I needed any help.

"Uh, sure... can you do make up?"

He smiled brightly, "can I? hell yeah!!" I looked at him confused and he laughed a little. I'm really confused, only guys that are.... ohhh, I got it now. realization quickly came over my face as I understood and he nodded confirming my question

"Do any of the guys know..?" he shook his head no, as he worked on my face.

"They would probably kick me outta the house, but I don't like any of them like that. so it's ok, they don't need to know. it's not a huge deal, so what? I'm gay, and I don't care what others think, not that others know. but you get what I'm saying." I nodded slightly, not wanting to mess him up. I did understand it.. I lost my older brother because he let what people thought about him get to him and he commited suicide on himself. I sighed, pushing that thought out of my mind, tonight will be fun.

"Andddd I'm done!" he said turning me to face the mirror. I gasped in shock, I looked wonderful, and gorgeous for once. I hugged him tightly and shooed him out of my room yelling a thank you. I needed to get dressed and quickly. I didn't have a lot of time before people got here.

When I walked down in a tight, but not too tight, light baby blue dress that hugged me I all the right places, I saw that there were already a lot of people here. I sighed, and looked for the boys. I found Caiden in the kitchen talking to some friends with a beer in his hand. I smiled softly and he motions for me to come on over, so I walk over quickly.

"Hey! guys this is Brooklynn, or brooke, or as I call her Brookiee." I giggled and said a hello to a very pretty girl and two other guys.

"Hi, I'm Vanessa." she said quietly and blushed a little. "she's really shy." Caiden whispered in my ear. I nodded and replied by pulling her in a hug.

"No need to be shy love, I don't bite." I joked and looked at the other guys where their eyes were anywhere but my eyes. I huffed and snapped my hand in front of their face. they snapped up and their face turned red.

"That's better, my eyes are up here boys. now what are your guys names?" I asked with a little annoyance. I knew this dress was a bad idea.

"Uhh, I'm Zach and this is Chance." Zach had deep brown eyes and sandy blonde hair while Chance had bright green eyes with brown hair and freckles across this nose. "hi." I smiled and shook their hands and they pouted. "no hugs for us?" chance asked. I laughed,

"Cuz you're a pig, and you only wanna hug me to try and touch my ass, so no." I turned towards Caiden, "have you seen Keaton?" he sighed getting a little annoyed with me for always asking, "yeah, in the living room."

"Thanks, sorry if I annoy you, love you Caiden!" I yelled over my shoulder.

I pushed my way threw the hallway hearing whistles and the strangest pick up lines.

'Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?'

Like really? that's wayyy to cheesy.

'Can I get your number cuz I forgot mine?'

Ohhh that sucks, tough luck bud.

'I'm gay, do you think you could change me straight?'

I'm pretty sure he said that wrong...but how about a rain check?

'Do you have a map? cuz I'm lost in your eyes.'

I laughed a little, really? you didn't even look at my eyes.

I finally found Keaton, but what I found broke my heart just a little... there was a girl sitting next to him, messing with his hair and whispering little things in his ear making him laugh. I toughened up right then. it may not be what it looks like. I walked towards him and sat down on his lap glaring at the girl.

"Hey Brooke." he said and turned his conversation back with the girl. I huffed and tapped on his shoulder. he sighed and turned to face me, "yes?" he asked a little annoyed. well damn..

"Aren't you gonna introduce me to your little friend?" I asked batting my eyelashes and smiling sweetly.

"Sure, Brooke this is Mariah, Mariah this is Brooke." She looked at me with a glare and then said hi, and grabbed Keaton's attention again. I huffed with an aggravated noise and got up 'accidentally' stomping really hard on Kaiden's foot. tears were begging to spill.

"OWWWW!!! BROOKE?!" I turned slightly and flicked him off, fuck him, fuck Mariah. I heard him sigh. I looked behind me quickly and saw him excusing himself and followin me. I grabbed a beer from the cooler and walked outside sitting on a lawn chair pushing back the tears that so badly wanted to spill.

"Brooke? What the hell was that all about back there? ya know that really hurt." he said pouting but sitting in front of me.

"I don't know, seems like that girl was more interesting than paying attention to me when you say you'll never hurt me but ignoring me like that does hurt Keaton. it pisses me off. I've been ignored by a lot of people and it coming from you hurts the most.."

"Do you remember my past..? and Mariah?" I looked up quickly, that's Mariah?? oh my god.. she was beautiful even though she's taken Keaton away from me for the nght.. "yeah..." I mumble.

"Well she wanted to talk, straighten things back out between us. that's all."

"And then what? have you as her boyfriend? leave me behind? I don't like her already." he chuckled.

"No, Brooke I won't leave you for her." I sighed and hugged him tightly laying my head on my chest.

"But she did say she still loves me..." I froze and looked up at him. his

eyes were filled with some emotion I couldn't quiet figure out.

----------------------------------------------sorry that this chapter was so short! I just felt I needed to update and I know that it's a bad place to stop, but what do you guys think will happen? will Kaiden and Brooke stay together? or will he go back to Mariah?
