News: Blood moon will bring about the end of the world on FRIDAY, claim Doomsdayers.

The clock was counting down, simply four days left before the end. Before the bloody, astrological mass, shed it's silver lining and ended it all. Of course this is only believed by a select few, the alleged Doomsdayers of our small town. To any other ordinary pedestrian on the street this mythological disaster is unrealistic, a hysterical concoction made up in the minds of people with an obsessive desire to prepare for disasters waiting to happen. Some may even say the people have become disasters themselves, their mass preparation causing them to have dysfunctional and distressing behaviour.

The doomsday citizens themselves are still just ordinary people like us, but they are simply more cautious, more paranoid. They are as real as we are yet their beliefs are so unnatural, unimaginably ridiculous. Upon encountering multiple different dooms day preppers and visiting their homes it is easier to spot the common traits and purchases between the unusual members of the community. Their shelters are all similarly alike, strong sturdy buildings, packed to the brim with long lasting supplies, prepared for any apocalyptic type of situation. Perhaps something we should all consider more with rising tensions between the large powers in Russia and America at the time, particularly with the number of nukes placed around the world at this current time.

So what is a blood moon? A blood moon is not, a moon covered in blood, destined to end the human race, instead it is simply a Lunar Eclipse. An event which happens when the moon moves into the Earths umbra, in which the Earth blocks all light from the sunlight, however some light does manage to get through and therefore causing the moon to appear red. Now blood moon's hold high spiritual meaning, hence why they may cause more hysteria for some than others. In many prophecies a blood moon is directly used to symbolise the end of the world, explaining why Doosmday preppers are even more active due to the unavoidability of the event that occurs this Friday.

For a large amount of people they see this as another fascinating sight, something that happens around twice a year only, viewed by many aspiring stargazers, astronomers and astrologists all over. A sight to possibly admired due to its uncommon appearances. So what will you be doing this Friday, will you be packing bags and stuffing a bunker or will you be stood still, watching the moon turn crimson red overnight?
