I sighed and sat down at my desk.
I barely slept last night, too many thoughts were going around in my head. I have to talk to Jungkook...
Where is he anyway?
I searched the classroom with my eyes, but there was no sign of him. I frowned without even noticing it.
"Mi-ne!" I heard someone suddenly yell. I turned around to look at the source of the sound and saw Megumi running toward me.
"Megu!" I said and jumped up from my seat.
Megumi engulfed me in a big hug and almost squeezed me to death. Gosh, what is it with me and the people that I know squeezing me to death?
"Oh my gosh, I was so worried about you. I even my failed my math quiz because I couldn't stop thinking about you. Goodness, I can't even imagine all the bad things that could've happened to you. Then it would've been all my fault just because I wasn't there and-"
"Ms. Nakamura and Ms. Jihara. Would you please stop whatever it is that you're doing and sit down for class will begin now?" Mr. Jones said and looked at us sternly.
"Yes, sir!" Megumi said quickly and skipped to her place.
I sat down at mine and took out my books. Just as I was about to open my Grammar book, someone barged into the classroom.
Everyone's heads turned around to stare at the classroom's entrance.
"I'm sorry for being late, sir!" An out of breath Jungkook appeared at the doorway.
"Alright, have a seat." Mr. Jones said curtly and returned to writing some sentences on the board.
Jungkook, without glancing at anyone, sat down at his desk and pulled out his books from his bag.
I kept trying to make eye contact with him, but he just wouldn't look back at me.
I eventually gave up and looked up at the board instead of Jungkook.

After two hours of boring Grammar and Vocabulary, the lesson ended. Before we could leave to go for recess though, Mr. Jones had something to tell us.
"Who here has a passport?" Mr. Jones asked and scanned the room with his eyes.
Almost everyone in the class raised their hand, only 2 didn't.
"Well the ones that don't have one might wanna get one soon, because this class will be going to Norway next week." Mr. Jones said and the class erupted with screams of joy.
I looked at Megumi and she gave me a bright smile. I smiled back at her.
I tried to glance at Jungkook too, but he was sitting in an odd way so that his back was turned towards me.
Is he trying to avoid me?
"You are dismissed." Mr. Jones said with a low voice and all of the people in the class ran out of the room like little kids.
I stared at Jungkook who was currently walking away from the classroom with his head down. He will talk with me whether he likes it or not.
"Megu, let's play a little game of tag." I said and looked at Megumi.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Megumi asked me, confused.
"We're the catchers and Jungkook's the target, there's something that I need to talk about but he keeps avoiding me. You'll help me catch him, won't you?" I asked Megumi desperately.
Suddenly Megumi grinned happily, and a little too happily that it was starting to scare me.
"Oh you have something to tell him? Don't worry! I will make SURE that you tell him without any interruptions because I ship it- I mean because I'm a good friend. Let's do this!" Megumi screamed excitedly and started stretching her legs.
She's a bit too into it, isn't she?
I stared at Megumi hopelessly and she just gave me a big bright smile.
"Well shall we go then?" I asked her.
"Yup, let's go!" Megumi said and stood up straight.
We walked out of the room together and started our mission to capture Jungkook...or to at least talk to him.
We headed to the cafeteria and saw Jungkook buying something from their display.
Megumi and I looked at each other and we nodded.
I stood at the back of the cafeteria and watched as Megumi approached Jungkook. They spoke together a bit and then she eventually led Jungkook out of the cafeteria and into the gym.
That's my cue!
I ran quickly to the gym and used the door that was meant for staff only to enter, I can't bump into Jungkook on my way to the gym. Thankfully no teachers were there.
Megumi pushed Jungkook into the middle of the gym and disappeared herself. Jungkook looked around, bewildered. He was visibly confused.
He was about to walk away, until I appeared.
"Jungkook." I said sternly.
Jungkook glanced at me and then turned around to walk away.
He really is avoiding me! I was starting to get mad.
"Jungkook! Stop avoiding me!" I yelled and started walking after Jungkook.
Jungkook was about to run away and leave through the gym room's entrance.
He stopped though when he saw something flying. A big black blanket or something of the sort dropped onto him from high above before he could react. Jungkook dropped to the ground in pain.
A fish net...?
"Gotcha!" Megumi screamed and sealed the fish net with some clips.
"Megu, are you crazy? You didn't tell me that a fish net was going to be a part of this plan. Also, where did you even get this fish net from?" I asked her. I looked at Jungkook, who was shaking on the ground, in horror.
"I didn't tell you cause I didn't know that I'd find a fish net in the storage room, but I knew that this guy would eventually try to run away so I prepared for that! Hahaha, well it all worked out in the end right? I'll give you two some "privacy' and take my leave now. Byeeeeeeee!" Megumi gave me a wink and ran off.
I swear to god, that girl is crazy.
"Um Jungkook, I'm sorry about all of this. All I wanted to do was just talk to you, but Megu took it to another level. I won't take these clips off though until you start telling me everything." I said sternly and stared at Jungkook.
"Fine, I'll speak." He said with sorrow in his tone.
