"A useless and stupid brat is what she is, she doesn't listen to me anymore. A child who doesn't listen to their parents is worth nothing."

"Stop that! You know that she can hear you through the house's thin walls."

"Good! She should know how much of a disappointment she is to us.

"Don't say "us", I don't think she's a disappointment at all Haru. Enough of your nonsense, I'm leaving."

"You aren't going anywhere Yui. You won't be leaving this house until the day I die."

"You're so obsessed with the media. It's like a worm eating your brain. Who cares about what the media says about us?"

"I care goddammit, shut your mouth and leave. I have work to do, you and that brat are a distraction."

"Suit yourself."

*slam*

I jumped up from where I was laying down and looked around frantically. I thought I heard a door slam.

Oh nevermind... it's just another one of those stupid flashbacks. I keep getting those lately.

"Ugh." I groaned and rubbed my sore temples. My head is pounding and my ears are ringing. What's going on? What happened to me?

From what I remember, I was skiing and then Megumi fell down and then I-

I heard the door suddenly open and someone slowly walked into the room.

"Hey there..." They said to me groggily.

I rubbed my eyes a bit and tried to get a better look at the person.

"Reo? Is that you?" I asked, baffled.

"Haha yeah, it's me." He said and chuckled slightly while looking at my face.

"Why does your face look so fucked up?" I questioned and let my eyes scan over the scars, bruises and bumps on Reo's face.

"Jeez, what a way to ask. Also I look like this because of a spar I had at the fight club yesterday." Reo said with a small smile on his face and sat down on a chair next to me.

"The fight club? Wait...you go there every Wednesday and we went skiing on Tuesday. Are you trying to tell me that I've been knocked out for 2 days?!" I yelled out in shock. Now that I actually got a good look at my surroundings, I realized that I was on a hospital bed.

"Yeah, Megumi and you were both knocked out cold by the impact from the snow. Your condition was worse though since you hit your head harder and instead of hitting it onto snow like Megumi, you hit it onto hard ice. Right now you're in the hospital section of the resort." Reo explained and gave me a worried look.

I was astonished, I knew something was wrong when I woke up but I never thought something like that had happened.

"Where's Megumi? Is she okay?" I asked Reo and got up cautiously from the hospital bed. I felt something on my legs and looked down to see my knees completely patched up.

Oh yeah...I scraped my knees when I fell.

"Megumi woke up on the same day that she fell, she's fine now but she caught a cold. She's really worried about you though. Also, your lover boy is worried about you too." Reo said with a small smirk and got up to support me as I walked out of the room.

"My lover boy?" I asked Reo and gave him a weird look.

"Jungkook you dummy, he's been fidgeting around ever since you fell. Mako's been trying to get his attention for days, since he's been ignoring her and everyone else. Be sure to thank him when you see him because he's been coming to check up on you daily." Reo said and looked away from me with a scowl lingering on his face.

My cheeks flared up and I could feel my body temperature rising up at the speed of light.

"Reo." I stopped walking. "Why are you telling me all of that when you hate Jungkook?" I looked at Reo in the eyes, trying to understand the reason for his action.

Reo sighed and gave me a tired look.

"Listen, I may not like Jungkook but that's something between me and him. You can like him or whatever, that has nothing to do with me, I'll just keep an eye on him. If he flips on you though, then I'll beat him to pulp." Reo said and smacked his fit into his open palm threateningly.

A shiver went down my spine.

"Thank you Reo, you're really kind." I said with a chuckle and gave Reo a short hug.

"Yeah yeah, whatever." Reo said and dragged me along because we were blocking the hallway up. I swear I could see a small tint of red on his cheeks though. I smiled to myself when I saw that.

"Mi-ne!" I heard a voice yell and saw a shadow running towards me at an inhumane speed.

The shadow attacked me with a hug and almost squeezed me to death.

"Megumi stop, she's still recovering. You're crushing her! She might end up back on the hospital bed...but this time because of you." Reo said and tried to pull the hyper girl off of me.

"But I missed her so much, oh my goodness you don't how worried I was Mi-ne. I thought you'd never wake up. I felt like it was my fault too since you looked out for me when I fell, which caused you to fall. Wait, what am I doing? Oh my god! I'm crushing you here. Gosh, you'd end up on a hospital bed twice and it'd be all my fault. I'm so sorry." Megumi let go of me quickly and gave me an apologetic look.

"It's okay Megumi, I'm glad to see that you're doing fine despite the cold." I choked out and showed her a bright smile.

"Yeah, I'll be alright don't worry." Megumi laughed and then ended up getting a coughing fit afterwards. Reo walked over to her to pat her on the back to lessen the coughing.

I looked at both of them with a sweet smile...these two always manage to cheer me up.

As Megumi and Reo walked ahead of me, I felt a vibration in my pocket.

I pulled out my phone from my pocket, I had forgotten that it was in my pocket this whole time. I'm actually surprised that it's still working. I thought the impact from the fall had smashed it to pieces.

A text message...?

Oh, it's just an advertisement.

Wait...why do I have so many missed calls? Who are they from?

I hastily opened my phone log and saw 10 missed calls from an unknown number.

My hand started sweating and my knees started shaking.

Megumi and Reo stopped walking and turned around to look at me with concern.

"Mi-ne?" They both said in unison.

Who'd call me that many times?

I bit my lip out of nervousness. My anxiety is starting to get to me.

The only people whose numbers I have saved are Megumi, Reo, and Jungkook.

So who...?
