she's come undone

"Mommy." Miranda says. I rolled over and looked at my baby girl. She had morning hair and she was rubbing her left eye. "I'm hungry." Stefan started moving as soon as I sat up." Can we make breakfast?"

"Yeah." I tossed the blankets off and quickly got up.

"Come lay with uncle." Stefan mumbles.

"No." She says.

"Where's daddy?" I say as I put my slippers on.

"I don't know." She says. Stefan grabbed Miranda and pulled her on the bed. "Uncle!!!" Miranda yells as he tickles her. The way Stefan looked at Miranda made me smile. He was always so gentle and over protective.

"I'm gonna go look for Damon." The moment I said Damons name Stefan immediately looked at me. "Come princess."

"I'll help you." He tossed the blanket off and got out of bed.  I opened the door and Miranda was the first one out the door. " You want to cook and I'll find Damon?" Him and I both walked out the room and walked down the hall.

"Yeah." He placed his hand on my back and I glanced and smiled at him

"Mommy?" Miranda says. Stefan and I both looked at her. " found daddy."She pointed to the open door. I took a step forward but Stefan grabbes me and I stop walking

"Let me go." He walks past me. "Him and I both need to talk."

"Okay." He smiled at me. " come baby let's cook some breakfast." I nooded and Miranda and I walked into the kitchen and I walked over to the refrigerator opened it

"Can we have toast?" Miranda says

"French toast?" I grabbed the eggs and milk.

"Yes." I hand her the milk and she walks over to the counter and puts the milk down. "Mommy is auntie gonna be okay?"

"Yeah baby."

"How about daddy?" I looked at her." Daddy has been crying himself to sleep."

"You heard him?"

"No I seen him." She says. I was wondering why Damon didn't tell me anything about him be upset. A part of me was hoping that Damon was missing Elena and the tears he is crying are for her.

Miranda was my little helper she  grabbed the syrup bottle and placed it on the table she then helped me with the plates and even the cups.

"Here princess." Miranda walked over to me and I handed her, her plate of French toast.

"Strawberry?" She says.

"You've been in her head for an hour. Still nothing?" I heard Stefan's voice

"Princess go sit and eat." I say as I walked over to the basement door

"But I want strawberry." She pouted

"Baby eat those, then I'll make more and I'll put -"

"Okay." She says as she sat at the table. I walked downstairs and seen Stefan and Damon. Damon was by the cellar

"How are you doing in there?" Damon says as he opened the cellar door. Elena looked terribled she was barely even conscious. Damon pulls her out." Come on." Elena fell on the floor in front of me. He kneels down in front of her."is the old you ready to come out and play?"

"Go to hell." She groans and he smiled

"Okay. Back you go." He stood up grabbed her and pulled her up. He then put her Back in the cellar." We can do this the nice way, or we can do it any other way.... but either way, we're not stopping until your humanity switch is back on. So I'm gonna let you think about that, and I'm gonna come back for you in a couple of hours, or a couple of years.... because all we have is time." He then closed the door and looked at Stefan and I. " what?"
