True Lies

This pregnancy was going easy and I was loving it until today. I woke up and ran straight to the bathroom and threw everything up. I was so weak that I stayed in the bathroom for two hours. Every time I stood up I got dizzy so I decided to just sit on the floor until there's nauseous and dizziness past. When the bathroom door slowly opened I looked up and seen Elena rubbing her left eye

"What are you---"

"I'm flying a kite Elena-" she glared at me." - I'm sick." She walks in the bathroom. "I'm to dizzy to walk to my bed." She extends her hand out and I grab it and she gently helps me up. She opens the door and helps me to the bed

"Is she okay?" Caroline says

"Yeah." Elena says.

"Just give me an hour and I'll be good." I grabbed the blanket and covered my whole body including my face

Stefan and Amanda are laying by the falls her head is resting on his chest and he is running his hand through her hair.

"We could be doing anything right now, Stefan, be anywhere. Why here, why this?" Amanda sits up and looked at him

"These are the good moments, the simple ones,  the ones that matter." He says and Amanda smiled." These are the moments that keep me not fall apart." Amanda rubbed his face. Then she leaned forward and gave him a passionate kiss.

"This can't last forever. You're just distracting youself." Amanda says as she pulled away and  sat up. She then started coughing over and over again

"Amanda, Amanda, Amanda." He says. Amanda started  coughing up water. "Amanda!!!" Stefan says from inside the safe that was in the bottom of the water." No."

"Megan's Memorial outside is growing by the minute." Elena says.

"I'm trying to sleep." I tossed the blanket off and looked at the clock and seen it was already 8am.

"Ugh, college kids are so dramatic." Caroline groans."She was on campus for, like one day. She couldn't have had that many friends."

"Caroline the girl is dead. You can stop competing with her now." I say as I sat up on my bed.

"Sorry I'm in a mood." Caroline says

"You talked to Tyler?" Elena says.

"He's deferring from enrolling and deferring from returning my phone calls, so I'm deferring from having sex with him ever again." She says. "Amanda don't look at me like that."

"Like what?" She didn't answer me

"How's the snooping going? Any expansion why our vervain-laced vampire slaughtered roommate had a picture of our dad on her phone?"

"No." Caroline says. I got out of bed and walked over to Caroline and Elena. Elena reached into her backpack and pulled out a folder and hands it to Caroline.

"Oh, um, I went by the hospital this morning--- Megan's death  certificate. It says she died of suicide. No mention of gaping vampire bite on her neck." Elena says. I looked at the folder. "So, whoever signed off on the cause of death was part of the cover up, just like the founders counsel back home."

"It says Dr. Wesley Maxfiled." I say as I read the name

"A.K.A. our Applied Microbiol-ogy professor."

"Applied--- what, what? Elena, we are supposed to be taking  Intro to communication. What happened to getting drunk and making decisions about boys? What happened to our freshman year at college? I am supposed to be a drama major!!!" Caroline says
