Becca noticed a change in Micha after the announcement. Tonight he was going to be going out with Eliot, Keith, Sabel, and the guys that were in a band with Nicole. "No getting drunk." She told him, as she fixed the collar of his dress shirt. He nodded, "Yes ma'am."

Micha would get drunk. Happens every time he and his brothers go out drinking. Eliot's bachelor party was still a blur. He was going to take his punishment though. He just prayed she would take mercy on him and not give it to him while he's hung over. Becca was going to take Roland out to the movies since the guys were going out to have fun. Micha kissed the top of his head, "List to Becca." "I will daddy." He said excitedly.

Micha then kissed her before leaving the house, a spring in his step. "Come on little man." Becca said while grabbing her purse. "Let's go get something to eat before the movie." He ran out the door eagerly. Becca smiled and helped him into his booster seat. "What do you want to eat before the movie?" She asked as she got in. "Burgers and fries." He said bouncing. She nodded, "Burgers and fries it is."

She drove them to a diner and Roland bounced happily inside. He sat across from her, kicking his legs as he looked over the menu. After a waitress took our orders he looked at Becca. "Becca, can I ask you a question?" He asked her. "Sure." She told him. "Does my mommy have to be my mommy?" He asked her. Becca didn't know how to answer that. "Why do you ask?" She asked him. "I don't think she loves me. She's always mean to me and hurts." He said, his little eyes tearing up.

She thought for a moment. She knew what that was like so she smiled softly, "No honey, she doesn't have to be your mommy if you don't want her to be." He smiled widely, "I'd rather have you as my mommy." She has never been told that before. What do you say to something like that? It was clear the boy had given a lot of thought to it. "You're so nice, and you take care of my daddy and I. That's what mommy's are supposed to do. Mine just drinks and leaves all the time." She felt bad for the little boy. He deserves to know what a mother's love is.

When the waitress brought their food they ate in silence, just enjoying each other's meals while thoughts weighed heavily on her mind. Becca will never be able to have children of her own, and for Saddie to just throw away this beautiful child is just wrong on so many levels. After they finished eating she took him to the movies where she let him get his own small popcorn and soda. During the movie she only stared at the screen blankly, not able to focus on it.

Her being unable to have kids have ruined several relationships for her because they wanted to settle down and she basically ruins that picture for them. On the way back after the movie Roland fell asleep and Becca smiled as she carried him in. She would never get to do this for any other kids so she enjoyed this moment with bitter happiness. She was happy she gets to have the moment but it was bitter because it would never be with a child of her own.

She stayed up waiting for Micha and when she heard the front door open she left the living room to see Keith helping a drunk Micha into the house. "There's my beautiful chocolate kiss." Micha slurred. "Good luck." Keith said as he transferred his brother to Becca. He then left to get the rest of his brothers home. She sighed as she helped him up the stairs.

"What's wrong baby girl?" He asked her then hiccuped. "You disobeyed me." She said. "I know, but I also know it's more than that." He claimed. Even drunk he is still observant, she thought. She just shook her head and helped him out of his clothes before having him sit up in bed. She then had him drink lots of water to avoid having too big of a hangover in the morning.

She then changed and crawled into bed with him. "You know I am sooooooooooooo lucky to have you in my life." Micha declared with his arms in the air. "Without you I wouldn't have Roland or even be happy again. I think I'm falling in love with you Becca." Those words hurt. He might think that now but once he finds out, he'll hate her, just like the others. She'll crush whatever stupid dreams that for letter word makes him have and he'll hate her for it.

She didn't say anything as she turned off the lamp on the bedisde table. She laid down with her back to him. He wrapped his arm around her and pulled her to his chest. His words echoed in her head as she fell asleep. One thing that she hated was that she knew she was starting to fall in love with him too and she wanted to selfishly ride this out, even if it meant crashing and burning.
