Your POV

Fuck, what did I just say?! I just confessed! Fuck!

"Ah, yes." Hoseok smiled. "I love you, too." His answer caught me off guard. "We're friends after all. It's a given that friends love each other." He grinned his annoying wide, toothy smile.

"Yeah . . . Friends . . ." I'm sure annoyance is written on my face, yet this buffoon can't notice.

I sighed and let him go. "I'm going home." I turned around angrily.

"But what about dinner?" he asked, and I turned my head.

"You can choke on that yourself." I smiled at him, and he seemed confused.

"C- Choke? Are you angry by any chance?"

I didn't answer him, just turned around and left as I slammed the door behind me.

Friends? I snorted. Yeah, friends love each other very much indeed, so much I want to choke you with my friendship. I puffed out a breath of anger and went back home.

"The trial date has been set," Hailey told me as we both sat in the cafe. "The witness will be here soon- Oh! There he is." She waved her hand to a man behind me, and I turned my head to see him. At that moment I felt like the life was sucked out of body. He came and stood by the table.

"Hailey?" he asked.

"You're Rui?" They both shook hands with each other.

"This is the victim's sister." She pointed at me, and he turned to see me, the grin on his face disappearing for a moment only. The scar I gave him on the head was still visible.

"You remember me, right?" He extended his hand towards me. I was confused and shaken, my heart pounded inside my chest, and I looked to my feet. "You do remember me, right?"

"Y- Yes professor . . ." I whispered as he withdrew his hand.

"You both know each other?" Hailey asked.

"I was her professor in college before she was expelled," he casually said and then sat next to me.

"Ex- Expelled?" Hailey inquired and looked at me confusedly. "Hoseok told me you left because you couldn't afford it anymore."

". . ."

"You should at least answer me, no?" Hailey knocked on the table.

"Yes . . . I was expelled for using violence."

"Violence?!"

"Exactly," the professor spoke, pointing at the scar on the side of his head. "On me."

"What?!" She was shocked.

I still kept my eyes on my feet, but I couldn't bear it anymore. I stood up and ran away.  This is why you shouldn't be too happy. Everything felt as if it was going right. Tears started rolling down from my eyes. How foolish of me to think everything would end up fine. I kept running blindly till I crashed into someone and almost fell down, but the person didn't let me. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me back, but even then I didn't stop crying. The person took off his jacket and covered my head with it so no one could see what a mess I was.

"Calm down," the familiar voice tried soothing me.

I looked up at him as he pulled me in a hug.

Author's bullshit.

Who do you think came? Leo or Hoseok?
I honestly think leo is a pretty charming person too but of course Hoseok has his own place too.
