Hoseok's POV
I stared at her from afar as Leo wrapped his arms around her, trying to calm her. It didn't feel good one bit. The scene was killing me inside. I didn't want any other man to touch her, much less be wiping her tears. Even at that time, I wanted to run and snatch her away,, but instead I looked away, sighed and went inside the cafe.
"I'm sorry I'm late," I greeted Hailey and Rui.
"Yes, you are." Hailey was angry. "Why didn't you tell me she used violence against a teacher."
I sat down. "I'm sorry." Then I turned to Rui. "You will still be our witness, right?"
"Well . . ." he started, and I stood up from my chair immediately. As the chair fell down, I bowed in front of him.
"Please don't say no."
"Hoseok . . ." Even Hailey was surprised at my actions.
"Alright. I will," he said, and I raised my head.
"Thank you!"
"I was going to anyway. Seeing her did not make me change my mind."
"Thank you so much!' I bowed again. Then stood up straight. "When's the trial?"
"A week from now," Hailey answered. "Let's hope for the best. I'll discuss the details with Professor Rui. You can go back home."
"Are you sure? You don't need me for anything?"
Hailey smiled. "No. You know I took this case only for you in the first place. The way you begged me to." She nodded. "Since I already took it, I will win it too."
"Thank you . . ."
"That girl should be thanking you. She doesn't know how lucky she is."
I lowered my gaze to the floor and smiled wryly.

I stood outside her house. "She's still not back." Only one thing kept circling in my mind: how she must be with Leo. Each passing second made me more anxious. What if she spends the night with him? I shook my head. What is wrong with me? I was the one who chose to stay away, and now I can't shake this feeling off! If this situation had never arrived, I would have never come back. Clearly she deserves someone better than me. I sighed. Even though I know that, my chest really hurts. I sighed again. I want her. I shook my head again. No! Then I bobbed my head. But I like her . . .
"Hoseok?" The familiar voice behind me brought an instant smile to my face.
"Panda!" I turned around. "Are you okay? Where were you?"
"Nowhere." She lied to me. Why would she lie to me?
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about your professor. But that encounter was necessary. I'm really sorry."
"No." I looked at him." I heard he's still willing to give the testimony."
"Yeah. Did Hailey tell you?"
"Leo did. Hailey told him, since I wasn't picking up the phone."
"I see." It stung, this feeling.
"Okay, then." She turned and started walking towards the gate when I stopped her.
"Want to-" I gulped, "stay over again?"
What am I saying? I shouldn't be doing this."You mean it?" she asked, looking at me a bit confused.
"Yes."

"I know it's late, but did you have dinner?" I asked her.
"Yes. I ate with Leo."
"You're very close to him."
"I wasn't before, but well I guess we are now." She sighed. "He's a nice guy, and he’s asked me out . . . more than once."
"What did you say?!" I sounded desperate.
"Tonight." She paused as I thought. Tonight?! What tonight?! "Tonight he asked me out, to officially date him." I gulped as she continued. "I said I'll give him my answer after a bit of thinking."
"Why?!"
"Why are you angry?"
"I'm not!"
"It's written on your face. What are you angry about? Aren't you only a friend? Ha, does it matter to you who fucks me?"
Her words made me angrier. As she stood up to go to her room, I caught her wrist.
"No," I said.
"What?" She turned her head.
"You can't go to him."
She sighed and jerked off my hand. "That's my decision." She had walked a few steps when I ran after her, grabbing her shoulders and turning her around only to kiss her lips. I couldn't bear it anymore. She kissed back.
What am I doing? This is wrong! I pulled away. "I'm sorry."
"I'm sorry?" she yelled. "What the fuck Hoseok?! That kiss means you like me, so what the hell are you trying to pull?!" I moved back, but she grabbed my wrists, stopping me in my position. Then she wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me again. My body was in chaos. My mind told me to stop, but my heart and body wouldn't listen. I kissed back. The intensity of the kiss increased as a little imbalance made us both fall onto the sofa. I had her in my lap, and I stared at her loose shirt which was falling off her shoulder. I wanted to take it all off.
"Touch me," she whispered, and I looked at her with heavy breaths. I was hesitant. "You can have me." Her voice was giving me shivers. I grabbed her shirt then stopped, looking away.
"No." I couldn't do it."Why?" she asked.
"Filthy," I whispered. "I'm a filthy person."
