I woke up and checked the clock 40 minutes to 5; I changed into shorts, a tank top, my hair pulled back and my MP3 player.

I went down stairs putting my legs on the counters as I grabbed stuff to make a quick fruit shake for energy.

I poured two cups and Faith came down smiling in shorts and a tank with her hair pulled back. I gave her the cup of juice, “It’s fruit, it gives you energy while letting you eat, you won’t be hungry for a while but you will burn calories fast.”

She nodded and chugged it; I finished mine and we tossed out stuff in the sinks then went out the doors. I pulled my leg up stretching. She did the same; I popped my back then stretched my arms.

She jogged in place, “Ready?”

I nodded. I plugged my headphones in as she did the same and we just easily jogged down the sidewalk.

I wasn’t paying attention where we were jogging but I was getting tired; I saw a park and nodded over she nodded.

We stopped and got some water, she was breathing hard like I was. I leaned on a tree holding my side, she took a breath, “We are at the park near the college, and it’s a little over 2 miles out.”

I grinned, “Awesome! We can make this our check point for 2 miles then, we jog back and we did 4 miles!”

She grinned, “Great.”

I sat down stretching my legs out and she put her legs on a bench stretching when we heard, “You guys jog too?”

I looked over and Damien stood there with a shirt that had ripped off sleeves and no sides except at the bottom. He was wearing loose knee high shorts and his black hair was covered in sweat. The front of his shirt was covered in sweat as well it went down like a V to the mid of his shirt and I could see the sweat on his face.

I stood up crossing my arms, “And you say you don’t stalk me.”

He chuckled walking over to us, “I don’t, and I was jogging these parts before you were born!”

I rolled my eyes and faith was gaping, I sighed, “Faith, Damien, Damien, Faith.” She grinned and waved, “Hi Damien!”

He nodded, “So you ladies headed back?”

I nodded stretching a bit more, “Yah after we get rehydrated.” He leaned on the tree, mind if I jog back with you?”

I shook my head going to get water. I sighed feeling my heart go steady I glanced at Faith she was happy and nodded.

I turned to Damien, “We are ready.” He motioned for us to go; I raised an eyebrow, “For you to check out our butts?”

He chuckled, “What can I say I’m a gentleman.”

I rolled my eyes and nudged faith we began jogging back. I noticed Faith would look behind her and blush then look forward every now and again. I didn’t look back because I was focused on running I didn’t want to be distracted.

Once we made it back to the house I was breathing hard. I took a deep breath settling myself and turned to Damien. I smiled walking to him then slapped the back of his head, “That is for telling everyone we had a date.”

He chuckled rubbing the back of his head, “Sorry they kept bugging me.”

I rolled my eyes walking to the house like Faith was, “Wait!”

I turned to him with my hip out, my eyebrow up and my arms crossed, “What?”

He smiled, “My friends and I were planning on going to a movie tonight want to come.”
