I was facing that darkness again, well... It was more like almost darkness, but everything had an outline of what they were in their true colors, as if the last time I was here, this place had memorized it.
I didn't care about giving life to this place again; I saw the outlines clearly, and that's all I needed.
Everything was the same except the hallway at the end of the stairs. Now, there was a single straight red line leading towards the beast's chamber on the floor, glowing with its own light without me needing to touch it.
"Ah~. Back so soon~?" The malice in her voice still creeped me out, but I noticed this place made me act more neutral to all; I know I just lost my dad, but this place... In this place, I wasn't feeling sorrow or anything other than the evil and malice rolling off her in waves. She wasn't just outlines like the rest. She retained her colored body.
"I'm the fucking daughter of the moon goddess?" Okay, I lied to myself. I was angry, not wholly neutral. "And you fucking knew of it?"
"Ahahah~. Of course, I did. Who else would have left me in such a place~?"
"You... You monster!" I punched her in the face, but she smirked and raised an eyebrow, her head not even moving.
"You know... I'm a part of you... Your wolf~... Go on~. Ask away.... It's been years since I've chatted with someone~." She chuckled like she just heard a joke.
"Damn you, you stultus... What is this red glowing line?" I asked. It crawled up the wall, and the wolf's drawing on the broken chain glowed the same red.

"Hey hey hey~. Could you not call me stupid now? You don't want me angry." I felt like I wouldn't like that at all. "So... Red line... It's a sign that you unlocked your first power on the were-creature, specifically the werewolf side... As you can see, the dragon is yellow, the vampire is blue, red is for werewolf, black is demon, white is angel, green is elves, and brown is dwarf. Each time you awaken a new power, I get closer to freedom."
"Why do the chains snap?"
"They are holding me and your true powers back. They snap when you are ready."
"What was that weird thing I looked like?"
"That, my not-so-friend friend, is a halfway form between this body you have and a wolf's body. Your strength and speed increase, you grow a tail, your ears morph into wolf ears, and those marks appear; only you have such an ability in the world."
"About that, why do I get those marks? I can accept the probability of the others, but that?"
"I'm your beast. You take up some of my characteristics. I do have markings, too, though more complex. Now, we are always connected. Just look at your face."
