Any Day Now- Yoonmin

Chapter Twelve

During the concert, the boys couldn't help but wonder how the A.R.M.Y who attended didn't completely lose their voices. Every time a new person started singing or rapping, the volume of the cheers increased, and, like they wanted to kill the audience, Jungkook, Taehyung, and Jin kept doing aegyo. 

Concerts are always a little magical. There are times when something bad happens, but those rarely occur. At this concert, they all worked in sync. The globes of light dancing around in the darkly lit audience around them created a fairy-like aesthetic.

They set aside little conflicts and focused on just performing, as if this one concert was the only thing to concentrate on in life. As if all their problems would be resoled by them just standing on the stage and performing. And in a way, they did. The mood of the audience and the group working together seemed to lighten everyone's spirits, and the argument form before seemed to fade away. Even though there would obviously be discussions and alternate apologies later, all that mattered was the fans and the music. 

But during Airplane pt. 2, when Jimin started to sing "I don't know I don't know I don't-" he got flustered for a moment because of Yoongi. Before Yoongi began his rap, he make a weird flirty winky face at Jimin, which surprised both of them and Jimin stuttered (cHoKe). But they smoothed it out, and no one really noticed besides them.

After they exited the venue and were finally back in their hotel suite, the group gathered on the couch to share drinks and hang out. They had ordered Panda Express ( much to Taehyung's delight) and were jokingly fighting over takeout containers will discussing the highlights of the concert. 

"Namjoon I really am sorry I said that. I didn't mean it..." Jimi apologized for the millionth time.

"Jimin I already told you-it makes sense what you did and I'm not mad anymore! So calm down already," Namjoon said, rolling his eyes and taking another sip of sake. 

Jimin nodded and grabbed his bottle of beer and another egg roll. Jungkook and Taehyung stared at all their slightly drunk members and shook their heads while drinking blueberry sodas. It wasn't that Taehyung couldn't drink, he just chose not to. 

At 2am, the boys finally decided to go to bed. The next day was the first of their three day 'vacation' in Osaka and they didn't want to waste their rare free time. They already agreed on no filming, that the break was just for them. Not like the summer packages, they would enjoy time off-camera and as out of the public eye as they could.

in Jimin and Yoongi's room, thirty minutes later

Jimin and Yoongi were both in their beds, having finally put down their phones and finished showering and face masking and other bedtime preparations. 

The soft white light from the lamp flickered out with a click and Yoongi flopped his hand back onto his plushy white comforter, identical to Jimin's bed. 

A moment passed of just breathing, silence, relief of relaxation. 

Then:

"Yoongi?"

Jimin heard him turn over to face him. "What?"

"Why did you randomly wink at me during the concert."

a pause 

"Oh, that. I was just fooling around. We were having fun and being stupid. As usual. Why?"

Jimin lifted his head up slightly and turned it. Then set it back down and exhaled. "No reason. Goodnight."

He rolled back over and faced the wall. Even after he heard Yoongi's breathing change into the deeper sighs of sleep he stayed unable to sleep, but he couldn't tell why his mind couldn't rest.
