Weeks passed in the same rhythm of working throughout the day. All the group's songs were coming along well despite frequent procrastination and goofing around. The group only had one concert that month and it went very well, as usual.

They would have to take a brief hiatus from working on and producing their music to go perform and have a fanmeeting in Japan. But instead of flying there and immediately returning to Korea, their manager decided it would be a good idea to stay in Osaka for a few days as a sort of vacation. Naturally the boys agreed; who wouldn't pass up time off work?

They started getting ready, packing their suitcases and deciding the perfect airport ensembles as they knew fans at the airport would take tons of photos of them.

"Jimiiiiiiiinnnnn...." Taehyung walked into Jimin's room and flopped onto the bed. "I'm bored."

"Aren't you supposed to be packing? We leave tomorrow and you have to..get all your Gucci together, don't you.." Jimin said, looking up at Tae.

"But I'm bored!"

"Well I'm packing, so don't interrupt me!" Jimin put his headphones back in and grabbed another shirt when one of the earbuds was pulled out of his ear.

"Hey!"

"Don't be grumpy! I was just wondering how your and Yoongi's song was coming along?"

"Well you can ask me tomorrow when I'm not trying to pack!"

"Jimin!!!" Tae whined.

"Its going fine."

"Neither of you are being bossy? No power struggles?"

"No, we work really well together."

"Awwww" Tae said.

"What?"

"Its just cute that you two are getting along and being good friends!"

Jimin glared at him. "We already were friends. I wasn't scared of him or anything."

"Yes you were! Every time he talked to you, your face would get red and you'd stutter!"

"I wasn't scared of him!"

"Then why did you do that?

Jimin went quiet. "I don't know. I'm not scared of him."

"Well all right. I'll leave you to your packing. Don't bring ugly clothes!"

Jimin shook his head at his friend and turned his music back on as the door closed.

...

The flight was early in the morning and the boys arrived at the airport in a tired haze. Their ruffled hair was covered by hats and their faces shielded by pollution-blocking masks. It was still dark outside as they walked down the ramp to the plane and sat down in their comfortable first class seats.

Namjoon, Hoseok, and Jin took the back of their area on the plane, and  Taehyung and Jungkook sat behind Yoongi and Jimin.

They barely heard the pilots announcements about turbulence and such and as soon as the flight took off Yoongi and Jimin both put in their headphones. Jimin was listening to an audiobook of of "Carry On" by Rainbow Rowell (A/N; very good book I recommend it) and Yoongi started his classical piano playlist.

About half an hour into the flight Yoongi's eyelids started to droop. He had stayed up late the night before trying to cure insomnia but in fact doing the reverse by binge-watching ridiculous teenage drama shows on Netflix (me). The concerto playing started to lull him back to sleep and he closed his eyes and dozed off.

Not a long time later, though, he woke up because he felt something on his shoulder. He blinked a few time and looked down to see the top of Jimin's head, protected by a black hat, resting on his shoulder. Jimin must have fallen asleep.

Careful not to disturb Jimin, Yoongi adjusted himself in the seat and closed his eyes, drifting back off.

----

"Ladies and gentlemen we have arrived in Osaka, Japan. Please wait until the seatbelt sign turns green to stand up and get your baggage."

Jimin startled awake and lifted his head. He looked down and realized he had been resting it on Yoongi's shoulder and looked up at him, blushing.

"Sorry I fell asleep.. next time just wake me up or push me off or something!"

Yoongi laughed at his flustered dongsaeng and assured him "I was sleeping anyway, I don't care."

"O-oh okay."

There was a dinging noise and they all stood up, and filed off the plane, stretching their sore legs.

The boys stepped out of the terminal with their luggage into the sunlight, greeted by fans and cameras, and walked toward their cars, smiling and waving and trying to mask their exhaustion.

They finally reached their hotel, and before they had to practice for the concert, they all finished resting and ate, grateful for peace and quiet before having to face the crowds again.
