"Okay, so he should be here soon!"
Alfred stands next to Ivan. The Russian fidgets with the tips of his scarf. He was really nervous- no, that wasn't the word- terrified.
"What do you think he will do?" He asks, occasionally looking at the door.
The American smiles, adjusting his coat. "Hey, you're not choking up flowers, that means he like you back!"
"That's not even possible-"
"Japan told me, stop killing my dream!"
This guy believed too many stories. Still, if that was the case, Ivan felt some comfort with knowing that he wasn't coughing up petals.
"Aside from that, do you really think Yao feels the same-"
"Boi, of course he does!" Alfred face palms himself. "How oblivious could you be to not know that?"
'Well, okay then.' was what Ivan wanted to say. He had to be over reacting.
The door opens, the three Asians walking in.
Kiku Honda, Wang Yao, and Im Yong Soo. They truly were beautiful nations. The objects of everyone's affection.
There was only one who made Ivan's heart skip though.
Yao's smile was beautiful. That smile...was directed at him.
"Nataliya, I've been wanting to talk to you." Kiku smiles. In his hand...a letter.
The letter Ivan wrote.
Ivan begins to panic, racing across the room, only to be stopped halfway by Yong Soo and Alfred.
Nataliya looks up. "Hm?"
Kiku's smile twists as he slams the letter on the conference table. "Congratulations."
Taking out a bag of left over ashes, Kiku slams that in the table too. "You truly have invented a new kind of stupid."
Ivan stares at the two, his heart beating rapidly.
Nataliya scoffs, piercing Kiku's eyes with her own. "A whore doesn't deserve admiratio-"
Kiku snaps, slapping the Belarusian across the face.
"Nataliya-" Ivan begins before seeing Yao stone faced.
"I love my brother more than anything in the world!" Kiku yells, making Ivan flinch. "A thousand years ago he told me 'this one is the one.' So I stood by!"
Yao stares wide eyed at his brother.
"I would choose his happiness over mine! Wang Yao is the best thing that has ever happened to this world!" Kiku's eyes begin to spill, gripping onto Yao tightly. "Never lose sight of the fact that your brother has been blessed with the best man to ever live! A better wife than you could ever be!"
Ivan was taken aback. Those ashes. Kiku's break down. He knew now.
"Congratulations." He breathes heavily, still holding his brother tightly.

Break...
Nataliya had stepped out as the break was called. Most nations had been discussing what happened as normal people would.
"Hey, bro. It's gonna be okay, trust me." Alfred says sadly. He was hurt, knowing that Kiku had bore feelings for the Russian.
As much as Ivan hated Alfred, he wanted to comfort him. He was his ally.
