The meetings in Russia had ended and the nations were free to return to their own countries. However, Wang Yao had chosen to stay for a little while longer. He had told Ivan he wanted to stay with him and Katia. He could watch over Katyusha and the Baltics for a while. Not having the heart to say no, Ivan reluctantly agreed.

The day was bright while snow fell unto the Russian grounds, bringing in a pale blue light within the manor. The residents were awake and active while the morning arose. Wang Yao began to clean the hallways along with the two maids present.

"Mister Wang, you don't have to do that," One of the maids begins. "You are a guest-"

"Yes, that may be so, but I insist, aru." Yao smiles kindly. "I would like to assist you."

After an hour or so, Yao had moved downstairs. He looks at the grandfather clock which read,

8:25

He saves that in his mind and goes into the kitchen, earning several greetings from the staff. He begins to help with cooking breakfast, once again earning concern from a few maids and butlers. He continues, however, and he does so after putting on a playlist of Russian songs.

A chorus of singing and overall enjoyment emerges from the kitchen.

"What is going on in here?"

The singing stops along with everyone's actions. Yet, Yao continues to smile brightly, seemingly unfazed. "We're just preparing breakfast, Vanya!" He beams, clasping his hands together.

Ivan smiles. "I see. I was wondering since it's so different."

"Aiyah, mornings seem so dull here, aru!" The Asian puffs, pouting slightly. "Everyone should have some fun!"

He turns the music back on. "Back to work, everyone! Let's try to finish breakfast before nine o'clock, aru!"

To Ivan's surprise, the kitchen is filled with laughter and chatter within seconds. He looks at Yao, who had already began assisting some of the staff.

It was different for his house. Everyday it was quiet and dull. It was rather gloomy, too.

He had received news from the hospital and was going to inform Yao when he heard the commotion. His sunflower looked so happy, he didn't want to ruin that. So Ivan keeps his mouth shut.

Yao moves swiftly across the room with the music. Ivan was enchanted by it. Everything Yao seemed to do was mesmerizing to him.

He was so lucky to have him.
