"Ivan Braginski..."

That was the only name on Yao's mind as he reread the letters he had received from his lover over and over again. This had to have been the ninth time he read them all over since he woke up.

His fingers caress the page, feeling the crevices of the writing indented into the white paper.

He could be mistaken for a lovestruck child at the moment- something of which he was completely unaware of.

He had never been so infatuated with someone, not even Rome. To surpass his previous dissolved lover was not only rare, but nearly impossible.

The oldest nation was not one to fall so quickly- or so hard for that matter- so it was a shock even to him that he adored Ivan so much.

However, he paid no mind to the past, but instead focused on the present. The letters and flowers sent to him from Ivan gave him a sense of peace.

Yao was definitely smitten with this guy, that he knew. Did he really care? Not at all. He loved Ivan and Ivan loved him back, that was all the mattered.

They were nations, they could not be 'punished' by their countries' anti-gay laws. They could easily get away with it, though it was illegal in both of their countries.

He had absolutely nothing to worry about besides Nataliya having to be at their wedding. She was the groom's sister, after all. Of course, she had to be there, as much as Yao would rather chug bleach.

Who would be his best man? He was already thinking of Kiku, though he and Francis had already grown so close. Perhaps Francis could be in his line and Kiku be his best man. But who would walk him down the isle? Macau? He actually didn't think that was such a bad idea.

He shakes his head, internally cussing at himself for already mentally planning the wedding. He didn't really have that many regrets, though.

He continues to reread the letters one by one, taking in the sweet and enchanting words.

Yao feels himself growing hungry. He hadn't eaten in a few days- no, that was an understatement. He hadn't eaten since Francis had been hospitalized. He couldn't bring himself to eat, even though Yong Soo and Kiku would pester him to eat at least some bread. Even then, he only ate half, maybe less.

He had heard Li Xiao talking to Kiku about it earlier. His little brothers began to think that he was developing an eating disorder. To be frank, he thought they were over reacting. It had only been a couple of days, he just needed to cope. Of course, he always made great Chinese meals for his siblings. He was bound to eat at some point.

He sighs, placing down the letters. There was no meeting as of today and his siblings had gone out to do...whatever youth does these days.

He turns on his phone and puts his music on shuffle. He didn't really feel like doing much, so he was pretty conflicted as to what he was supposed to do now. It was getting cold out and he was in no way a fan of the cold.

He could always read a book...the same one he had read about fifteen times. He really should start bringing more books with him.

Yao just lays down on bed. Might as well sleep. Perhaps he could fantasize about Ivan more. I mean, it wasn't like he didn't fantasized about him nightly.

Truth be told, Yao had Ivan on his mind so often it became like a reoccurring dream that he didn't mind anymore.

Yao could only imagine what life with Ivan would be like. After a long day just cuddling together. Perhaps with a little one by their side.
