3rd Person POV
It became second nature for all the genin to visit Naruto after a mission or a hard day. They would remember how they always could vent to him and get an ear and sealed mouth.
They count the days for him to wake up.
Iruka would come every night to sleep beside him. Going so far as too literally kick out any nurses that would dare tell him he couldn't.
The note that the blond left behind, hit the Jonins hard. They never noticed how the most cheerful genin in the village was literally falling apart.
They were those teachers that never cared. They were the adults, yet they couldn't act mature enough to warrant Naruto's trust.
It was a hard shock that a student had tried to kill himself to be free from them!
Then, as if by a miracle, they were all in the same room. By chance, they all had gone to visit the hospital at the same time.
It was absolutely silent. The once rowdy genin showing their respect to Naruto by staying quiet.
Then, a small shuffle noise echoed through the quiet room. 17 heads whipped to the bed. Time slowed down as Naruto slowly opened his eyes. Breaking the spell, he asked a question that broke all their hearts.
HIs voice was completely devoid of motion. His face emotionless.
"Why did you stop me."
