"Thank you for the ride," I muttered softly, my gratitude lost in the whirlwind of emotions coursing through me. 

Stepping out of the van, I insisted on disembarking a few meters away from the school, determined to avoid the prying eyes and relentless rumors that thrived within its walls.

"See you at school, Areum-ssi," Joshua's eyes beamed with warmth as he flashed an enchanting smile, causing my cheeks to burn with a mixture of embarrassment and delight. 

I wanted nothing more than to bury myself in a deep, dark hole, shielded from the overwhelming attention that came with being in the presence of these extraordinary boys.

As the van glided toward the school, inching closer with each passing moment, I strolled along the pathway, my footsteps accompanied by the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers. 

Spring had cast its spell upon the surroundings, infusing the air with a renewed vitality and a symphony of delicate scents.

Lost in my thoughts, I was abruptly jolted back to reality by a familiar voice calling out my name. I turned my head, and there stood Jessi amidst the bustling crowd of students. 

Her vibrant smile illuminated the surroundings as she swiftly closed the distance between us, her arms swinging playfully by her side.

"Yo, ma homie!" she exclaimed, wrapping her arms around me in a tight embrace. "You look good today!"

Confusion furrowed my brow as I glanced at her, puzzled by her sudden compliment. "What do you mean?"

A mischievous glint danced in Jessi's eyes as she clung to my arm, a playful smirk gracing her lips. "Pretty! You look pretty!" she declared, her words ringing with sincerity.

Playfully swatting her arm, I couldn't help but shake my head at her unpredictable nature. "I swear to God, you are so random!"

Laughter erupted from within us, harmonizing with the vibrant atmosphere surrounding the school gate. Together, we made our way into the school compound, unaware of the storm of fangirls awaiting the arrival of Seventeen. 

Dino emerged from the first van, leading the rest of the members with his infectious energy.

As Jessi and I continued our leisurely stroll, weaving through the throng of students, the scene unfolded before us. 

The deafening cheers and enthusiastic cries of fangirls filled the air, creating an electrifying aura of adoration and excitement. 

Amidst the chaotic crowd, I caught a fleeting glimpse of Joshua's figure, his presence radiating a captivating magnetism that seemed to ignite my heart.

In that fleeting moment, amidst the sea of fervent admirers, our eyes connected, a silent exchange that spoke volumes.
