peters pov:
ok so i was currently doing all my homework in the living room of the compound. my teachers had decided to give me extra homework to 'excel myself' and on top of that i had a history project due on world war two, whilst also studying for finals coming up. let's just say i'm a mess right now. i pick up my phone checking the time; 3:45am. at least it's the weekend.
i had managed to get the project and my homework done. i was now moving on to revising biology, since that was the exam i had monday. i'm exhausted but i need to do this. i can't fail.
i picked up my phone; 6:00am, ive got through all the first five topics for biology, now time for physics. i grab the book and lay it in front of me, however i feel my eyes grow heavier, this is not good, i can't be falling asleep now!
i hear murmurs in the room. my eyes slowly open. i see all the avengers gathered around. i pick up my phone and see ive only been asleep for half an hour.
"hey kiddo, what are ya doing down here?" tony asks.
"um, r-revision." i can't feel myself talk. i stand up, slightly wobbling, but i manage to steady myself. i grab myself a glass of water and some food and sit back down. carrying on with the revision, trying to ignore everyone.
"how long have you been up?" steve asks, like the mother hen he is.
"um not long maybe since four?" i lie and i hate doing so.
"friday how long has he really been up?" damn
"he's been up all night and morning, only slightly falling asleep at six this morning."
"oh peter... why? are you ok?"
"yeah i just needed to do my work. is it ok if i stop being spider-man for a bit? it's all getting too much."
"yeah that's ok, we are here for you - don't forget - and don't take it so hard."
"i just wanna do well and i just can't do it." i say taking my head into my hands.
"peter, you're the smartest kid i know, we believe in you, you can do it."
"thank you, all of you." i say with a slight smile.
"now go get some rest."
