tony had invited peter to the tower for the monthly movie night with the avengers and peter (as always) was ecstatic. he was currently sat on the end next to tony who was sat next to rhodey. it was bucky's turn to pick the movie, peter was unsure what the title was but he, along with the rest of the group, were enjoying it nonetheless.
so peter was munching on some popcorn, watching intently, only feeling slightly empty when the movie ended. sam turned off the movie. and they all just kinda sat in silence for a bit.
tony was first to break that silence "that movie was amazing!" the others murmured and agreed avidly.
"it had just the right amount of action and drama." rhodey added on.
that's when tony turned to face the kid, who was finishing the last of the popcorn, watching as people spoke. "so what did you think kid?" peter swallowed the popcorn and coughed before speaking, quickly taking a long sip of his chocolate milk which he had partially forgotten about during the movie. "well... it could be gayer." peter rolled his eyes slightly letting out a sigh.
"gayer?" steve questioned. peter only nodded his head and finished the rest of his chocolate milk, minding his own business, leaving the rest of the avengers looking at each other curiously.
