you know what they say about saviors? that they come and change your life after saving it. that they teach you about it. even about the lessons you knew before. because sometimes your heart needs time to accept what your mind already knows, right?
my savior is her. this gif of a cat you see above. to you, she's just a minor cat. to me, she's a beautiful one. if you're here, i want you to know about her. she's a huge part of my life.
she is my life.there's this belief that cats are unarguably and unargumentatively rude. mean. but that obviously comes from people who haven't been with cats. some do feel the need to be alpha. some are content to mind their own business. some are affectionate. some are very standoffish. most just want it their way. they're basically masters; with respect for their people. they're awfully stubborn though. in other words, cats hear you calling their name and then they meditate on whether they want to respond or not. it's usually not. :)
the purr of a cat is a vocalization, an indication that it's content, secure. an indication of affection. sometimes, cats use purring for their own self-comfort, or in some cases, when they are distressed. humans, as recent studies have shown, find the purring of a cat comforting and that it reduces stress in humans.
cassie is sleek. she's intelligent. fastidious and aloof. she's independent. territorial. playful. smart. she buries her poop too.
she reminds me of fierce white landscapes, snow-covered peaks of mountains. snow leopards. icy disasters. tsunamis. snowflakes. of every kind. in the uniqueness that they comprise of. she's like this spirit animal to winter. "a compliment to your personality", as people have told me. "she has the same soul vibes you have", as he says.
addition in this book exerpt above: *and my satisfied cat
i found my savior on exactly 2nd June 2018, around 9 pm. her birthday is on 20th feb, 2018. the first thing that came out of my mouth after I saw her jumping in my friends' car, on the dashboard, sniffing literally everything and going back and forth was this: "she's going to be an adventurer." another friend told me she's going to be one hell of a ride. I wanted her. at the first sight, when I had first only seen her in a picture, I knew I wanted her.
she's interesting. i can never quite figure out what is going on behind those eyes. at times, sharp. at times, trusting. at times, pure playful. and then at times, just sleepy. she is friendly. and i mean that. she runs against everyone and let's you pet her soft tummy. she wants to play with everything I own. she broke my succulents the other day. I forgave her of course. she didn't feel sorry about it though...
she's my bed space thief. an excellent morning alarm. i have started waking up at 6 am to feed her :) i know. the girl who used to skip a day at college just so she can sleep in. 6 am. no kidding.
she's graceful. she walks and proves why they call that fashion runway a catwalk. she loves her freedom. she loves when I hold her. however, sometimes she meows loud, as in screams at me to leave her the hell alone. :)))
