they have to be there. it's a sum. an equation. a 1 plus 1. it's a completion. look. the places we dream to be, make us. the people we meet, mend us. the stories we hear, save us. but the things that people don't talk about, the places where it's just us alone with the thoughts of the world — in these intervals — we find us. we complete us.
