The past week and a half had been filled with me and Jacob hanging out, him learning about the pack, getting the pack mark, and doing everything he could to get involved. He hadn't talked to Bella in weeks, and I kind of felt bad. Jacob explained her whole situation to me, and I told him he should get ahold of her. He obviously refused, because he didn't want to go against Sams orders of telling her. She had been calling his house non stop, and Billy kept telling her that Jacob has mono.
Today the state of Washington decided to do what it does best, down pour all day. Jacob had called me and asked if I wanted to hang out, which I obviously said yes to. I drove over in Jesses truck, and parked in the garage. Jacob was out of the house in an instant, and running towards the garage. I met him halfway, and he crushed me into his arms.
"You know, I missed you." Jacob breathes into my hair.
"We saw each other like ten hours ago Jacob." I roll my eyes and release myself from his hold.
"I know." He grabs my hand, pulling me out from under the cover of the garage and into the rain. I yelp as I get pelted with rain drops. Jacob laughs and spins me into the rain. "Wet dog isn't a great smell, you know." Jacob smirks.
"Then I guess if I smell like wet dog my boyfriend should smell like wet dog too." I smirk and grab his hand.
"Did you just call me your boyfriend?" Jacob asks me.
"I guess I did." He grins and starts to inch his way closer to my face. Our lips almost touch before headlights flash in my eyes. I flinch backwards, and Jacob does the same. The headlights turn off and we look to the source. Bella Swans truck sits in the driveway. She gets out of the truck and starts to approach us.
"Jake!" She yells. He turns towards her. "You cut your hair off?" She yells over the rain. Even though we can hear her perfectly without her yelling. "And got a tattoo?" She mumbles. Jacob looks to his right bicep.
"Bella." Jacob starts.
"I thought you were too sick to come outside." She exclaims. "Or pick up the phone when I call." She looks him over, and glances at me. "What happened to you?" Jacob starts to turn back towards me, but Bella grabs his arm. I start to growl, but I stop myself. Bella can't hurt him, and she would never do anything. "Did Sam get to you? Is that whats going on?" Jacob glares at her.
"Sams trying to help. Don't blame him." Jacob let's out a throaty laugh. "If you want someone to blame, blame those filthy bloodsuckers you love so much." Bella takes a step backwards.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Jacob rolls his eyes.
"You've been lying to everyone. But you can't lie to me Bella, not anymore." A yell is heard through the forest and we all look back to see Sam standing there. "Bella, we can't be friends anymore." Bella looks up at Jake in shock.
"I know I've been hurting you, but just give me some time or something."
"I'm not good Bella, you need to leave." Jacob walks away from her, and towards the cult. She yells after him then looks at me. I give her a small look of sympathy, before running to my imprint and jumping on his back. He laughs and we take off towards the cult.

Bella Swans house is not where I would've expected to end up the next day. But here I was, knocking on her door. After a few knocks, Chief Swan opened the door. He looks at me for a minute before opening his mouth. He closes it, looking at me with a loss of words.
"I'm Artemis, the girl who found your daughter in the woods." Chief Swan nods his head. "Is Bella home? I'd like to talk to her."
"She's upstairs." He moves out of the way, and lets me into his home. He points me in the direction of the stairs. "Her rooms up the stairs to the left." I thank him and trek up the stairs. I knock on the door and after a few seconds Bella opens it. She does what her father did earlier, opening and closing her mouth, looking for something to say.
"Hi, we haven't really had a chance to be properly introduced. I'm Artemis. The girl who found you half dead in the woods, and who you saw with Jacob yesterday." I laugh. "We haven't really had any chance to properly meet, and I figured I'd help you understand everything." I explain. She nods and let's me into her room. "I'm assuming you have some theories." She scoffs.
"I've had so many theories, I think my head might combust from keeping them all in." She tells me. "I have no idea what to do anymore."
"Well Jacob can't tell you what's going on because he literally can't." I start. "I'm sure someway Jacob told you what's going on, you just don't remember. You just have to think Bella." Realization clouds her eyes. "I know that Jacob cares about you, he's explained your whole situation to me." She starts to sit up. "Don't worry I won't tell anyone about your vampire friends. Just please think about what Jacobs ever said to you, so then you'll know."
"I will, and thank you for everything." A rock hitting the window makes us both look towards it. We looks towards each other, then race for the window. We both look to the ground and see Jacob standing there in his normal wardrobe now, shirtless with a pair of shorts and shoes. Bella opens up her window.
"Jacob?" We say in unison.
"What are you doing here?" I ask my imprint.
"What are you doing here?" He asks me.
"I asked first." He shakes his head at me.
"I'm here to talk to Bella. Your turn."
"I'm here to talk to Bella."
"I'm coming up." I push Bella backwards, and she sends me a confused look. A few seconds later, Jacob stands in front of us. "I'm assuming we came to talk to Bella about the same thing."
"You assumed right." He turns to Bella.
"You really need to think Bella. Think about that day on La Push, the story."
"The story about the Cold Ones." Jacob rolls his eyes at her.
"Of course that's the only part you remember. Just please remember, it would make this whole thing a lot easier." I grab Jacobs hand and give him a small smile, which he gladly returns. Bella awkwardly coughs and Jacob starts out the window.
"Jake, what are you doing?" He doesn't answer her, but continues out the window. He jumps off the windowsill and onto the ground.
"Yea I'm gonna use the door."
