Is this for sure?

Takashi's POV:

"Haydie! I...eh... welcome! Please come in."

"Thank you," she says while smiling at me. Seems like nothing is destroyed yet... hopefully.

"I got you the notices from Friday. Sorry it took so long, my mother kept me busy."

"No problem, I'm glad you are here. I just started making dinner. Want some too?"

"Sure, I'm hungry."

"Wait a second."

I rush into the kitchen and quickly finish the rest. I place the food on the table and we start to eat. Luckily I can cook since I mostly live alone and Haydie seems to like my food. I'm relieved.

"Tomorrow you are coming back, right? Should we repeat all the stuff you missed?"

"Yes, this would be helpful."

With that being said, we finish dinner and sit down on the couch with all the notices and start learning. Thanks god she is good at explaining. If not I would be at a loss after one week missing school.

After nearly one hour, Haydie slowly gets dizzy and I recommend her to lay down for some time while I will clean the kitchen in the meantime. She agrees and lays down on the couch. After half an hour, I go back to check on her and see her sleeping. However, as I come closer I see Haydie sweating terrible and remove the blanket and try to wake her up. Nevertheless, she won't wake up and instead sweats more and more. What to do?! So she did got my fever in the end? Shit... I run to the bathroom and get a wet, cold flannel. What next... pills! I still have some left against fever. I'll give her one first.

When I go back to Haydie, I try to get the pill into her mouth as well as water. She gulps the pill and I put the flannel on her forehead. Hopefully it will help... I sit down next to her and watch her sleeping aggressively. I wish I could help her. I stroke her hair and wish for the best. Seems like she will be the next one to miss school, all because of me. Excellent. Great job, Takashi...

I sit next to her for some more time until her phone rings. Oh right! She has a mother! I pick up her phone and tell her about the situation. Nonetheless, she tells me to let Haydie sleep in my house and hangs up. What the fuck... how relaxed is her mother?! But I guess I don't have any other option... I pick Haydie up and lay her down on my bed. I make the room dark and close the door. So... and where should I sleep? On the sofa I guess.

I try to make the sofa as comfortable as possible and decide to go sleeping right after. Nothing to do anyway. I just hope Haydie is ok.

Some hours later

I wake up to a thump sound and sit up straight immediately. Was that a thunder...? Suddenly, the light gets turned on and I look around. Haydie! I stand up instantly and rush towards her. She can't even stand straight and wanders around... gosh. I put an arm around her and help her stand straight.

"Water.... please."

"I'll get you water but first we will lay you back down on the bed."

We do as I say and after one minute I come back with a glass of cold water. She drinks it slowly and falls back onto the bed.

"Can't you... stay here? You know...if I... need something."

I look at her unbelievable, not knowing if I understood her right.

"What?"

"Stay here."

"You sure?"

"Please."

I shrug my shoulders and lay down next to her. My bed is not made for two people but I try my best to give her as much space as possible. I lay down on my side so that I can watch her and luckily she falls asleep fast and my sleep follows very long after hers.

Time skip

Oww, the sun... so bright. I open my eyes and look around. Haydie... wait, she cuddled up to me? I look suspiciously at my side and see her grabbing my shirt. Oh my gosh, how sweet! Without me realizing it, I pet her head to which she wakes up.

"Good.. morning... huh?! Oh my gosh, sorry! Your shirt! I didn't mean to!"

"It's ok," I laugh it off and check the clock. Oops... school is already starting.

"What's the matter?"

"We are late for school... or rather say I'm late, you have to stay inside anyway."

"I'm sorry. This happened only because of me."

"Don't be sorry," I say as I move a bit so that my face is right in front of hers. Just when I realized what I was about to do, I shrug back and apologize. However, her gaze is still fixed on me.

"I... I," stutters Haydie and comes closer, almost touching my lips with hers.

"Oh wait... I'm sick."

Wait... she wanted to kiss me?! Not paying attention to her fever, I kiss her without a warning and pull her into a hug. And here goes my control flying away again... I kiss her deeply and I can feel her lips moving to mine. As soon as Haydie can't breath anymore, she lets go, looking embarrassed. That's when I stroke her back and close my eyes. I need to cherish this moment... Suddenly, I feel Haydie rubbing her head against my breast. That's when I deepen the hug once more and kiss her forehead. It seems like she thought about her feelings while she didn't visited me. I'm glad it turned out good. We stay like this for some more minutes until we decide to eat breakfast after which she will go home. I recommend that I will get her home but she insists that she can go alone and so I'm staying alone at home again getting a call from Tomo asking why I didn't come to school today and that even the teachers are worried about me by now. However, all I can worry about right now is Haydie... not only the fact that she goes home alone but we didn't hugged when were about to part ways, she didn't even looked into my eyes. Did I do something wrong? I want to know...

Haydie's POV:

I hope I didn't got Takashi's hopes up accidentaly... I only needed someone with me to stay in bed and got a bit out of control but I guess I sent him wrong signals... awesome, why am I so stupid. I'm still not sure about my feelings towards Takashi. I wish I could come up with a conclusion fast. With a stupid feeling, I go home. Luckily my mother is at work, I need some time for myself now. Arriving home, I throw myself on the couch and after thinking about Takashi for some time, I fall asleep.
