Getting to know the parents

The school day passes by quite funny and lovely and with that it feels like time goes by quicker than usual and the last class ends way faster than imagined.

"Hey, Haydie, wanna come over today?"

"To your house? Sure!"

"Well then, seems like I have to go home alone today."

"Aww, Yusuke! Don't worry, we will go together tomorrow!"

"Hey, but what if I want you to be with me tomorrow too?"

"Takashi, don't be so possessively. You are not the only one who wants me."

I smirk at Takashi who lets out a playful pout. After that, Tomo and Yoshiatsu leave together while Yusuke has to go alone. I feel kinda sorry for him... poor Yusuke. Takashi seems to notice my worry and lays his hands down on my shoulders from behind me.

"Don't worry. As you said, you will go with him tomorrow."

"Yeah," I say with a smile and turn around so that I'm face to face with Takashi and kiss him. 

He takes my hand and we go out of the school. On our way to his house we never let go off each other's hand no matter how much our hands sweat because of the heat. This should be the last week with such high temperature. For some reason I'm sad about it. This summer was such a highlight and with the summer coming to its end, I end up feeling like I miss something.

"Are you worried about anything, dear?"

"Hehe, oh? You call me dear? Then I will call you sweetie!"

"Haha, do as you like. I will like every name you give me."

"Ohh, don't say that too early, I can be quite cruel with giving names."

Takashi laughs and tickles my sides. We arrive at his home and hear some people talking.

"Shit, are they already home?!"

"Your parents?"

Takashi nods and whispers a 'Sorry' to me.

"Hello, Takashi. And...?"

"Welcome back, mom. She is Haydie. Is it ok for her to be here?"

"Of course. Your dad and I will go to the beach after lunch anyway. Come eat with us, Haydie. I'm Rinka."

"Nice to meet you, Rinka."

I shake hands with Rinka and we go to the table with the already finished food.

"Wow, it looks super delicious," I whisper to Takashi right before his dad appears behind us.

"Rinka just told me about you, Haydie. Nice to meet you. My name is Takanori."

"Nice to meet you, too."

We shake hands as well and sit down at the table.

"So, what is your relationship to each other?"

Wow, how straight forward his father is!

"Sh-she is my girlfriend...,"Takashi says a bit embarrassed and looks down.

"You didn't told us anything, Takashi!"

"Well, we became a couple some hours ago, so..."

"Oh, wow... well, that's surprising!"

His father seems amused about the news and smiles brightly at me. I guess he approves of me?

All of us start eating and talk meanwhile. His parents inform us about their trip while Takashi and I tell them about our past few weeks. His parents are surprisingly nice. I thought they would be rather strict since they have a high status in the business but seems like I was wrong.

After we finish the meal, I thank them for the delicious food and his parents make themselves ready for the beach.

"Normally we would ask you if you would like to come with us but you know... parents need some time for themselves."

"I know, I know. No need to tell me, mom. Have a nice day you two."

Some minutes later, his parents finish the preparations and open the door.

"Ok, so please don't burn the house, alright? Otherwise we wish you lots of fun."

His father winks at us. He sure is humorous, but that's a good characteristic. It makes me calm down at least a bit.

His parents see us off and the last thing we hear is the engine of the car getting quiter because of the distance. That's when Takashi suddenly hugs me.

"I'm sorry for such a big surprise, I didn't know about that."

"It's ok, don't worry. I like your parents."

"Really?"

"Sure, especially your father, haha."

"I'm glad," he smiles and hugs me one more time.

"You know what? I love you. Please stay here tonight. My parents probably booked a hotel,"

"I will. I love you too, Takashi."

I hug him strongly and he responds with a deep kiss. I'm so glad all these past weeks of struggling finally came to an end. I'm now a happy girl with a beautiful man called Takashi by my side. I hit the jackpot.

I planned to make the fanfiction longer, but university will start very soon and thus I won't have much time at all anymore lol. It's sad because I can't publish all of my ideas but who cares haha.
