*Republishing this bc I rewatched the episode and... well I made a BUNCH of errors in it... so enjoy the newly fixed version!

Okay, so I knooooow I should be patriotic and prefer the UK Office, but the US one is soooo much better😱😱 so if you haven't watched it. Go. See. It. Now! This is based off the Company Picnic episode, but like, Avengers Picnic if that makes sense...

Also, I'm writing this really late because I can't sleep, so please forgive any errors in it. I'm currently operating in that little grey area between 'tired enough to fall asleep' and 'awake enough to actually be sane', so yeah...

Being an Avenger wasn't half bad. You got to save the freaking Earth after all. Fight off aliens, AIs, or whatever other sort of villain fame your way. Together as a team, there was nothing you couldn't handle (*cough cough THANOS) And getting to spend time with your husband... well that was certainly nice.

You married Peter one month ago in a small ceremony at Avengers Headquarters. Your parents had died when you were young, and Tony Stark had been like a father to you. He gave you away, whispering to Peter, "Hurt her and you're dead.", but he smiled all the same. Peter was like a son to him as well, and he was almost as happy as the two of you were.

"Babe, you ready?" Your new husband called from the bathroom, walking out.

"Yeah," you replied, looking over yourself in the mirror. You were dressed in a black jumpsuit, with blue and red stripes down the sides, 'Team Parker' written on the back. "I'm all ready."

Peter was wearing a matching suit, and he lightly pecked your shoulder, smiling at you through the mirror.

"C'mon everyone's waiting for us," he squeezed your shoulders, before giving you a soft kiss on the neck.

"Alright. Let's kill it out there Parker," you high fived him, starting your walk to the door, but stopping halfway.

"You okay?" Peter asked you, but before you could respond, you ran to the restroom.

Y/N POV

I was filled with an overwhelming feeling of nausea, throwing up in the toilet as soon as I reached it. Peter rushed in after me pulling the wild strands of my ponytail back.

"Are you okay Y/n?" He asked worriedly, gagging slightly from the sight.

"Yeah, I'm fine, I think... just... wow, that was sudden."

"You're not gonna go today Y/n." Peter decided for me, shaking his head.

"What?! Peter that's ridiculous. I'm just, just excited to kick everybody else's assess today at the picnic, that's all." I smiled at him, then went to brush my teeth. "Okay... okay, yeah, I'm good."

"Babe you should see someone. You've been throwing up like, a lot, lately."

"I'm sure it's just a bug," I dismissed his comment, walking out of our quarters to see the rest of the Avengers waiting not-so-patiently.

"Well, it took you long enough," Tony said pointedly, but there was a glint of humour in his eyes.

"Yeah-uh, Y/n wasn't feeling well," Peter explained, as we all left Headquarters to the grassy area that sat behind it. Instead of the clear, perfectly manicured lawn I was used to, it was filled with banners, and fun decorations for different events.

Tony and Rhodey were teamed up, then Nat and Clint. Wanda and Vision were together, and so were Steve and Bucky. Bruce and Thor paired up, and Sam and Scott begrudgingly went as a team (yes Scott isn't an Avenger, no, I don't care).
