Okay, I know his birthday was yesterday, but I was swamped. Not only did I not get the idea for this until mid afternoon, but then my friend and I hung out and watched a bunch of movies, so it's technically Cap's 100 years and one day birthday, but whatever. Also please bear in mind I wrote he majority of this (including the intro) yesterday.

Happy Fourth of July to those of you celebrating!
(This isn't really a Peter imagine, but I put his name there because it's Peter's universe, not Tom's.)
Word count: Description: you're the great-great niece of Captain America, as well as an Avenger. You happen to forget a certain someone's birthday.
"Happy Fourth of July everyone!" You said cheerfully, walking into the kitchen at the Avengers facility.
"Good Morning Y/n. Happy Fourth!" Wanda said back to you, adding, "It's days like these, that celebrate freedom and liberty (idk what it celebrates, but I'm pretty sure that's right😂) that I don't miss Sokovia."
"Do you ever miss Sokovia?" Sam asked, snorting into his cup of coffee.
"Well when you put it that way..."
Grabbing a bowl, you reached into one of the cupboards for some cereal. "Let's have a Barbecue!" You suddenly said, a smile forming on your face.
"That sounds like a fun idea!" Nat replied, finishing off her pancakes.
"So what do you think cuz?" You asked technically your great-great uncle, but who was really more like a cousin to you, Steve.
He looked up at you, his disappointment evident. "That's all you have to say to me?"
"Uh... Yeah?" You asked, unsure as to why he was being so disagreeable.
"Fine. I think a barbecue would be a great idea." He said sarcastically. "At least show this country the appreciation it deserves." With that, he got up, and walked out of the room.
"What was that about?" Tony asked, walking in.
"Do you think he fell for it?" Wanda questioned, a slow smile forming on her face.
"Uh, Hell yeah I think he fell for it!" You exclaimed, giving Sam a high-five.
"Okay, fell for what? Somebody better fill me in on what's happening or-"
"It's a surprise party." Nat cut Tony off, "For Steve."
"Oh that's right. The ol' 'One Double Bagel' and all. Why wasn't I informed about... any of this?"
"Because you wouldn't keep it a secret." You said with a mouthful of cereal.
"I would so keep it a secret! Name one secret I haven't kept." Tony challenged, as the rest of you looked at each other laughing.
"Well the whole Iron Man thing for one," you pointed out.
"Hey! I could've kept that a secret if I wanted to... I just didn't want to!"
"Umm hmm sure," Nat nodded, her face breaking out into laughter.
"Hey I could've!"
"I'm just excited for the party," Peter said from the corner.
"You let Spider-Boy know about this before me?!" Tony looked at you harshly.
"Hey don't look at me, you're acting like ya all my planning. But at least Peter keeps his identity a secret."
"Oh you're just saying that because he's your boyfriend." Tony said, his face filled with anger.
"Look, Tony, there's nothing we can do about it now. All there's left is for you to not say anything, help us set it up, and have a great time." Rhodey said from the sofa.
"Fine." Tony grumbled, walking back out of the kitchen.
Five hours later, Steve had continued to stay in his room and mope. You and the team however had managed to set up a nice party space in the Lounge. Filled with balloons, food and drink, you opened the balcony doors to let a nice July breeze sweep the room.
Calling out Steve, the rest of the team crouched behind pieces of furniture, and walls. You flipped the lights on as the two of you entered the room, and the team jumped out, shouting 'SURPRISE!'.
"Wha-?! I thought you forgot!" Steve jumped back in shock, before turning to you with a smile.
"Nope. I'm just that good of an actress. We could never forget your birthday Capsicle."
The party was small, just the team, but you all had a great time, taking turns to give your presents to Cap, who in run, was thrilled by his party.
And also happy birthday to THE PANCAKE MAN!!! Happy 22nd HARRISON!
