In honour of me moving😂 thanks to all of you who have been so supportive, it really means a lot❤️ I feel like Wattpad is my portal for whatever I'm feeling😂 But seriously this glitch, like what the hell is happening???

I like to think this is what would happen to me if I actually had a boyfriend.

Walking home from the subway, you felt the strain of a thousand textbooks weigh heavily on my shoulders. You looked up occasionally, as Peter rambled on about something Mr. Stark had told him the other day.

"And so I told him that it wouldn't be a problem, y'know, cause I can handle it, so he let me go with him to fight the villain! Oh Y/n it was awesome, you should've been there!" He smiled at you with a look of pure glee on his face that made your heart melt.

"Trust me Pete, if I was there then I'd be dead right now," you chuckled lightly, smiling right back.

"Well, even if you were there, I wouldn't let anything happen to you, but you know what I mean! You should've seen me."

"Well seeing you or not, I'm still proud of you babe."

"Thanks," he blushed shyly. Peter was never one for compliments. You two had been together for almost two years, and yet his stutter still sporadically appeared, and his nervousness came in bouts.

When you reached your apartment, he leaned in to kiss you. Holding his face there for a moment or two longer, you savoured the taste of his lips on yours. Smiling, you broke the kiss.

"Be safe," you pleaded with him, as he turned away to start his patrol.

"Always am," he grinned. "Love ya."

"Love you too."

Closing the door behind you, the corner of your lips still helplessly glued towards your cheeks, you walked into the kitchen.

"Y/n, darling, we're glad your here," your mom said, breaking you from your trance.

"Wha-?" You spun around, facing your two parents seated at the small metal dining table.

Your dad had his glasses off, his fingers pinching the bridge of his nose. A cup of coffee was in your mom's hands, papers scattered over the table.

"Uh, what's happening? Like, why are you guys home so early?" You asked, suspicion and worry infesting your thought process equally.

"Well... sweetie it's probably best that you sit down for this," your mom said sadly, patting the chair next to you.

"What is it? Did someone die?"

"No, no, honey, nothing like that," your dad chuckled, stroking a hand through your hair.

"It's just that... I got transferred," you mom said bluntly.

"Transferred? I-I don't understand, you mean like to Manhattan? The Bronx? Brooklyn? How am I gonna keep going to Midtown?"

"Actually... it's not to one of the boroughs."

"...Where is it to then?" You asked hesitantly.

"Chicago."

"Chicago?! Mom that's like a thousand miles away (is it really though?)!" You choked out, standing up.

"I know, Y/n, I know. And it's gonna be hard leaving your whole life behind-"

"Mom I don't think you understand, I can't just leave Queens! I have Peter, and my friends, an-and Senior year to finish!"
