Before Jungkook could even speak, Jimin had run out the door. He was alarmed since Jimin wasn't in his right Mind, he was automatically 10x more in danger than he would've been if Jimin hadn't walked ran out drunk.
At first, Jungkook was debating whether to even go after Jimin or not. He knew Jimin had nothing to live for after Yoongi's death, and honestly at this point neither did Jungkook.
If V were to barge in right now, with his signature twin knives in his hands. Would Jungkook really do anything to stop him?
If anything he'd probably walk right into the blade itself.
Despite his own desires to await his pending death, he walked out of the cabin and followed Jimin.
But not before taking Yoongi in his arms and laying him down outside. V would take care of it eventually, just like he did with all the others.
His heart lurched when he remembered how many bodies now float lifelessly in the river and his heart hurt even more when he realized it was the people he had grown up with.
They've known each other all throughout high school. He met Jimin first, He was new and the older was one of the only people that approached him on the first day. Come to think of it, his memory was a little hazy that first year of high school. He always thought there was someone else that approached him, but it's been so long that Jungkook completely forgot if there was another person in the first place.
Although Jungkook and the other boys spent every waking moment all through high school together, even in their first few years of college, Jungkook wasn't specifically close with any of them. He didn't really have the connection to others that people would usually have.
Sometimes he even found it difficult to connect to his hyungs, but he didn't really mind. He liked being alone anyways.
Jungkook jogged through the trees, running towards the river. He knew Jimin would be there, he noticed that he had grabbed the promise rings before he left.
Where else would he go? It's the only place they knew they could go back and forth from without getting lost since it was just straight through the trees and across the little trail.
There was a part of Jungkook that didn't want to meet Jimin at the river at all and in all honesty, he was afraid. Afraid of what Jimin would say to him when he saw that Jungkook was there.
"This is all Your fault."
Jungkook hated the fact that this happened, he also hated the fact that Jimin was right. They could've all been safe, sitting in their college dorm and playing video games or studying for their classes the next day.
But was that really what Jungkook wanted? He might sound crazy, but in the way he looked at it, it seemed completely sane.
This was his way of finally being alone again.
This was what he had wanted all along, what he was meant for, what he deserves.
Singularity.
He wanted that, to be by himself, to be his own singular being.
That's what he deserved. Jungkook didn't deserve love or any sort of happiness.
