It had been a week since Jungkook and Taehyung reached the younger's apartment. One the younger used to share with the rest of his hyungs, before Taehyung happened.
They haven't talked about what happen at the cabin a week prior, it was almost as if it never happened. Like the pictures on the walls that displayed 5 happy young men didn't even exist. Like they themselves didn't exist.
Taehyung gazed over the features of a sleeping Jungkook, his fingers brushed his lips before moving down his cheek and caressing the back of Jungkook's ear with his thumb.
How did he get so lucky?
He thought back to the conversation they had that morning. When Taehyung delved deeper into the death of his father.
"So.." Jungkook started, "Jin's father, was the man that killed your father?"
Taehyung smiled sadly, "Yeah. I had trained for 2 more years in preparation to do what I've been waiting for since my dad's passing."
Taehyung paused, "But, when I got there, when I was ready to get it over with. He wasn't waiting for me, instead
He was dead."
Jungkook's eyes widened, "He died before you could get revenge?"
Taehyung nodded.
"I had felt my sanity shatter that day. I became someone I never wanted to be. The person that I wanted to get rid of in the first place." Taehyung said, "I had a plan though, I had to find his son. Which was easy, his father's workers were thin skinned, they lead me to him without much torture."
Taehyung paused again, as if remembering something. "But when I found him, I found somebody even more important. Someone that out-weighted anything I had been feeling."
Jungkook perked up, intrigued. "Oh really? Who?"
"You." The older stated, "Once I saw you everything came back to me like a suffocating tidal wave. I knew you probably didn't remember me, since I was gone for so long. But I knew I wanted you." He smirked, adjusting himself in his seat at the dinner table. "And finding Jimin with you was like hitTing 3 birds with one stone."
Jungkook laughed shaking his head. "Why didn't you just come up to me at school? Killing people seems to be too much work for just one person."
Taehyung shook his head. "Just coming up to you at school wasn't enough. I needed you to be mine and only mine. At first killing Jin and Jimin was my only intention, the rest just became collateral damage. I couldn't leave any witnesses. You guys being in the cabin might've been the most perfect situation for me, you were all alone with no resources and miles of forest around you. It was an opportunity I didn't want to give up."
"Well you're plan worked, you have me all to yourself now." Jungkook smirked. There was a part of Jungkook that knew Taehyung was absolutely out of his mind, the trauma of losing his father and the secret agent training he received had definitely rewired his brain. But Jungkook knew for a fact that it takes two hands to clap, and he was just as crazy as Taehyung was, if not more.
Taehyung smiled, "I do. The best outcome I could've ever asked fOr."
Taehyung couldn't fall asleep for the life of him. And staring at Jungkook, as beautiful as he was, wasn't going to make Taehyung fall asleep faster. He got out of bed and walked towards the kitchen to grab a glass of milk, placing it in the microwave before sitting at the table, waiting for the timer to click to zero.

Ding!
A local police officer pulled the two pieces of toast from the microwave oven in his office. It was a Friday night, which would usually be busy- but the night was so quiet that you could practically hear the crickets singing to the moon.
The man sighed, taking a seat at his desk and waiting by the phone. He had gotten a call from one of his officers that an arson had been committed, it seemed to be a recent case, happening no longer than a week prior. But because of the vacancy of the location it had yet to be reported.
Staying in office duty was by far the most boring, the officer decided. He waited by the phone, ready to jot notes on their new arson case.
Just then, the phone rang.
The officer perked up, grabbing the phone with his right hand and steadying his pencil with his left. "Hello? Officer Park here! Any updates on the arson case?"
"Sir. It seems that this case, is way more than just arson. Report to Stonehead Cabins...
We have a case of multiple homicides."
