I couldn't think of a good title so I decided to state the obvious ^

It wasn't uncommon for an officer to stay later than their shift, so when it happened to you your sister had no reason to come looking for you. You were typing away at a report of your most recent expedition when you randomly looked up to spot your sister searching for you. You sighed when you saw the time, figuring she must be here because you were late for supper. Before you could get up and talk to her you saw Lieutenant Anderson and Connor come through the doors behind her. Connor saw your sis and approached her, asking her something you couldn't hear as Hank rolled his eyes and kept walking.

You squinted at the two conversing. Connor had never met your sibling so why did he seem so casual as he spoke? Getting up, you strolled over to them. Your twin sister spotted you first and waved, making Connor turn. When his eyes landed on you his LED turned yellow.

"Hey Connor, sis," you said. He scanned you then your twin.

"My mistake," he apologized to your sister. "I thought you were Detective (L/N)." To you: "I was not aware you had a twin."

"I didn't think it was worth mentioning." You shrugged.

"How do you two know each other?" (Sister/Name) asked.

"(Y/N) has helped me on multiple investigations-"

"I just transport him to the crime scenes."

"-when Lieutenant Anderson was late to work or sick."

"And occasionally I'll help him find Hank when he's drunk at a bar."

"Cool," she said. "Well, Mom is waiting on you to start supper and it's getting colder by the second so let's go."

"Alright, give me a sec." You ran back to your desk to retrieve some things as (S/N) struck up a conversation with Connor. Your hands slowed as you watched them with narrowed eyes. She was playing with her hair, something she always did when flirting. Connor tilted his head and she giggled. You marched towards the two and hooked your arm around your twin. "Let's go. Bye Connor!" You waved and dragged your sister out the door. She blew him a kiss and laughed when his eyebrows drew together.

Once in the car she turned to you. "He's cute."

"He's an android."

"That doesn't change anything."

"It means you have no chance with him."

"Ooo, someone's ticked. What's wrong?"

"I'm not annoyed, I'm just saying it won't work. He doesn't understand stuff like that."

"How do you know? Have you already tried?"

"I have better things to do."

"Hmm, right." You didn't say anything for the rest of the car ride. She was right about you being peeved though, not that you'd give her the time of day. When you were the uglier twin you didn't really like your sister showing interest in him; your chances of getting with him were even slimmer than they were before. You might as well destroy that dream right now.

You parked the car in the driveway. At least I get to hangout with him everyday, unlike her.

"What?!" you shouted.

"Lower your voice," Mom warned. "I said you should bring your sister with you to work today. She told me she might pursue a career in law enforcement. Wouldn't that be great? My two babies making the world a better place." She smiled fondly. That hoe.

"I'm gonna be really busy today, I don't have time to babysit her." You folded your arms and shrugged like it just couldn't be helped.

"I'm sure someone else can take care of me." Your twin entered the conversation. You sent her a glare as she smirked.
